This place is a real gem.

I'll never forget the first time I came here, about 15 years ago. It was my first road with my dad and we were on our way back from Victoria driving in his 1970 Chevy Camaro. When we were passing through Cache Creek he said we would stop and grab a burger at his favourite burger place.

I didn't think much of it, but the entire time we were driving we had no music. However, once inside Herbies the first thing that caught my eye was the retro- lit jukebox bumping off to the side of the restaurant. My dad gave me some change and told me to put on Van Halen. I had never heard old school rock like this before, and before I knew it the waitress had come out with our delicious milkshakes and burgers.

Herbies sells much more than just good burgers and shakes, they sell good times and memories that will last. Even now, every time I pass through Cache Creek I have to stop for a burger and reminisce about the good days.

Thanks for providing great service and amazing food for 30+ years...

I DO NOT RECOMMEND! My partner and I were travelling to Williams Lake to see family. We seen a large billboard on the highway that said Hungry Herbie's and it had a big delicious looking burger on it so we desided to stop in. We had to try it out. We both got 2 different beef burgers, fries, large pop and shared a pineapple mikeshake. I love burgers, but these FROZEN burgers didn't have much flavour at all (didn't look anything like the billboard) and for the money spend it was very disappointing. Fries were decent but very small portion for $2.75. "Large" pop was a small Styrofoam cup and no refills. And milk shake was pretty tasteless. Not much if any pineapple flavor and the vanilla ice cream didn't taste like vanilla, just tasted like cream. Definitely not worth the money. Will not be going there again on...

We stop here lots in between travel from kamloops to 100 mile house. We visited on Friday, June 11th at around 6pm. We ordered two burgers. It was not busy. Our ticket time was 35 minutes. My son even asked once did we miss our order. When we got the order finally the front counter person said there was mix ups. There was 4 orders from what I could see....how do you mix that up. When we got the burgers they were burned to a crisp....no joke. How could any good cook or even a decent one serve that up? A dog would not have eaten that burger. If the owners are reading this, check your staff, whomever was cooking should not be a cook if their serving that up. I used to stop on every trip through. I will never stop again. A lost...

Great old fashioned burger stand and a BC icon. I travel through Cache Creek generally 1 - 2 times per year on the way to a friend's property further north. My friends and I have a bit of nostalgia for Herbies but don't visit often and I'm am not sure why. On Sunday we decided to stop in and I can safely say I think I will be making it a more frequent part of my trips to the area. I had a monster with rings and it was fantastic. Much better than any fast food burger. The staff at the counter were also super friendly as I watched them serve other customers while waiting for and eating my food. My only regret was that I didn't get fries because they looked delicious too! A must visit on those family summer road trips!

Worst experience ever with the owner. She charged us for items that no one else gets charged for, and even though we said no cheese, she still charged us for it. She just said, "Oops," and then walked away. Our kids' $9 burger cost more than our meal, which was $16.25. Our kids' burger was the same price after charging the kid for lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and cheese twice. She even charged her again for the pop that came with their burger with all toppings included. Her attitude made us sick we didn't want to eat there and never again.
