We went in on may 14th at around 8:15pm and ordered a spicy chicken combo with extra cheddar cheese and extra red onions And also a beyond mozza with no bacon. The chicken burger had mozza cheese instead of cheddar and did not have red onions. The beyond mozza had bacon I even double checked before paying that she did have the no bacon rung in and she turned to talk to another staff and came back to the till and awkwardly nodded. After receiving the burgers and looked to see they were both incorrect... I brought them back to the counter to have them remade they were quick to fix the chicken burger but said beyond mozza burgers do not come with bacon. I proceeded to tell them that they do come with bacon and that I asked for no bacon on mine but the lady upfront told me it was not bacon on the burger it was a tomato. I had to physically pull the bacon out of the burger and show her that it was indeed bacon. Even then she still was insisting that they do not come with bacon. She then turned around and was talking with another staff member before bringing the issues to the kitchen. once they got the burgers out the second time they were correct I’m not looking for free food or anything but I do want to bring this issue to the owner and store manager. for them to imply I’m stupid saying that I can’t tell the difference between tomato and bacon is extremely unprofessional! I’m the store manager for two A&Ws in red deer so I understand that some customers are ridiculous and try to scam for free food but for them to deal with real complaints like that is completely unacceptable and will lose them business in the future. I believe the supervisor on shift was standing at the other till and did not intervene and they did not ask for his help when we were clearly struggling to resolve a simple easy to fix issue I hope you guys take this seriously and explain to the staff that arguing with customers does nothing but lose business and while we were waiting to order they had another complaint from a pretty irritated customer saying he ordered I believe 2 combos but only received 1 combo and a burger by itself and they also argued with him before even hearing him out on the full issue I agree that the customers are not always right but that does not mean they are always...
Read moreBy no fault of the staff, they can't control the neighborhood its located in, the drink area was not the most attractive one. However, I will say that the staff were quite kind when asking the girl with the blanket stare in the drink area to stop eating the salt and to please put it back. Im guessing being that the staff were quite nice about it, she promptly return said salt to the appropriate location shortly after taking another few shots of salt, without hesitation. Thats a win in my books! Im not sure if there was pepper at one point beside the salt or if the girl before me had maybe taken it with her for her travels.
Anyway.... I ordered the Mozza Burger..it was delicious, less the head of lettuce I got. Once removed I was able to locate the patty and the bacon! Thank God! I keep forgetting that A&W doesnt have ice. I really think they should get it though. Temperatures are a personal opinion and just because you think your drinks are chilled perfectly, it doesn't mean the next guy feels the same way. Id say more often then not, people want ice.
My burger and onion rings were cooked to perfection and fresh AF.

Read moreIm a regular customer here and everything was good, intill tonight i decided to come by and order in the drive through. The first thing i asked was “hey, whats the burger of the month”, i then get no reply suddenly for about a minute. Confused, i thought ok maybe there having tech problems. They replied to me again and i asked the same question. Now what made me real pist was the attitude they responded saying “OK when your ready just let me know”. I was shocked they purposefully ignored me and then proceeded to continue and ignore me with such attitude. I then went inside and asked who i was talking to in the drive through . It was the manager. I talked to her clearly upset at how unprofessional she was, she didn’t apologize or anything. Lied to me saying there was no special when there was. Acted all happy and cheerful when seconds ago was giving me attitude. I like the food but how can i come back after knowing im ordering from her again, it doesnt make me happy at all. I left and never coming back to that location, rather go to a different a&w. I have never experienced such rude service in a fastfood...
