A&W Canada — Restaurant in Calgary

I order 2 56 burgers double everything with 2 fries 1 apple turnover and 2 large black 2 coffees. They were not double everything only paddies! It was so dry and we had to open the paddies to see if there were fried onion on them. I added ketchup to mine when I got home to add more sauce. I called the supervisor and she said what you ordered is what you got. I didnt see on a screen what I was ordering, she advised me I only ordered extra pickle and sauce and there certainly was barely any sauce. The order was taken wrong. Their solution is to talk to management and let me know io either credit me or loose a customer. I wanted a credit for 2 burgers. They didnt give me a receipt either. We just had 56 burgers from Shawnecy location they were awesome double everything juicy lots if sauce lots if lettuce tomatoes fried onions cheese. That's why I ordered them again.

This location has a lower standard. I asked to speak to the owner they were not there. I explained I am the one who ate the final product and it is substandard. If that is the product they want to put out thats in them I wont be back. If 2 hamburgers are worth loosing a customer A & W is our fast food restaurant we spend 50.00 a month, that isnt good business sense. Thats the big picture here! I will go to Shawnecy where they listen and get the order right and make a delicious 56 burger. I am waiting for a response from management. It didnt sound good from the supposive supervisor I was speaking to. She should have just credited me knowing there was a mistake in their part from the beginning. This tells me they dont care about...

Disappointed since this is the closest A&W to me, so got to find another location. I won't be returning again for a while. The other low starred reviews are all true...this location will dissappoint.

Got a teen burger and onion rings at the drive thru. Asked for the onion rings to be hot. When I went to eat my burger, it was not one bit warm. The actual burger was not warm to eat or when touched. It was as if the burger was sitting there already made waiting to be ordered. The bun was crusty and a little charred, so that is why I also believe it had been sitting under the heat lamp. The onion rings were warm which I was pleasantly surprised. I shouldn't have to ask for my whole meal to be hot, not should anyone have to ask.

I had gone to this location not too long ago before, and had ordered teen burger and fries x2 at the drive thru. Had to stop and park after we paid, and had to go in to tell them the fries were cold- the fries were at that starchy taste because they were not remotely fresh at all. The workers happily brought out a new batch, but by the time it was done, our meal was half satisfying and half a disappointment since our burgers ended up getting cold from waiting for the fries.

I do not recommend this location as it ALWAYS seems something is never warm. Take your A&W business to another...

Picture doesn't help... grabbed two jugs of root beer and waited burgers & fries. Both root beer tasted flat and most of the table had sticky round marks although the shop was almost empty quiet. As I wiped off traces of salt on the seat and table, one of the two lady said my orders are ready. I guess I was spoiled by 5~6 other A&W I've visited, little surprised that I had to go back the counter even there were no other customer line up nor drive through vehicle coming and no other customers sitting. So I went up to pick them up, noticed right-a-way fries looked dry. At the table, confirmed that fries were bit old. Already started to feel defeat and disappointed, regret that I should have checked the review of this location sooner. And the final/last straw, my buddy burger didn't have grilled onions... they gave me baby instead. As I went up to the counter again and showed the lady (same lady who took my order) saying "my buddy burger is missing onions". She replied "oh, you wanted onions?" She shut her mouth as I showed ingredient information of "Buddy Burger" but didnot apologize. I had to walk up to the counter again for the fourth time to get the real "Buddy Burger" with cheese. It took just few minutes and it tasted better than my wife's cold teen burger which took 15 minutes... I am not going back to this...
