A&W Canada — Restaurant in Calgary

This review is for their country hill location close to home depot, I went there for lunch in May 11 around 1pm. Drive via was busy and traffic moving very slowly, I pulled up to the speakers, sat for a few minutes and no one answer, I can hear voices from their staff, I didn't want to slow down the lineup so I pulled up to the window and politely asked if their speaker was working, the fella answered yes, he also confirmed he took the order from the truck behind me, no big deal since he took care of my order and my meal was ready rather quickly, I parked next to restaurant to eat my papa combo, what upset me most is shortly after I got home, I fell very sick, the burger was very heavily seasoned and onion rings not fresh at all, I end up skipping dinner, ate at A&W for many years and never gotten sick or have their food that's overly seasoned, will not be eating at this...

This location has always been horrible in customer service as they don't really care about the customers, as compared to other locations that I go very often. I was here at 10:52pm and I politely requested the night shift gentlemen I would like two apple pies freshly fried and I'm willing to wait 7 min, which other locations are happy to do. However this guy just paused for a few seconds and then told me the pies were pretty fresh. I took his advice and that's a bad mistake. They were cool and I saw they were actually made two hours ago. Raised my concern with the A&W feedback system and still haven't heard anything from anyone after two days. I will not be returning to this location again as this is not the first time they mistreated their customers. I can get much better services from much happier staff at other...

Ive been coming to this place for years with my dad and brother. Today we decided to come and have lunch here again and its sad to say the service has declined drastically. The worker confused our order with another group and kept bringing us burgers when we kept asking for our specific order. The gentlemen in the group beside us was polite and asking for our food and the worker was rude and unaccomadating. As he left the two tables he said i love getting yelled at during my minimum wage job when no one was raising there voice and we were all asking where our correct food was. Later he came back and raised his voice slightly saying we had the order and took the other "wrong" burgers away. This situating is sad because i have some of my happiest childhood memories here and this one experience is tainting my view...
