A&W Canada — Restaurant in Calgary

EDIT: July 23 2020. I used to love this A&W but for the past several months this location has been steadily declining. There is a select individual who works here who has NEVER correctly fulfilled my order, and she is always the one manning the drive thru mic! The coffee machine or possibly the people making the coffee do an abysmal job (compared to other a&w’s in the city) and the line is so slow for the drive thru now, I won’t go in if there are more than 3 cars in line. I know I’m not the only person with issues with this location because friends have also commented, and today I watched the car in front of me fighting with that one employee while holding the receipt. Save yourself the frustration and drive to the crowfoot location, it will take less time and will more likely accurately fulfill your order.

Outdated review: Highly under rated. I really love that before you pay at the drive through, the cashier hands me my coffee. It’s not a huge gesture or anything, but it communicates to me that they trust their customer base not to drive off with free coffee. That makes me feel good. Not to mention the drive through is fast...

This is a great A&W this is an amazing area it's very well to do in this area so everything is super clean everyone super nice. Great staff of primary Filipino people for some reason. I like Filipino people a lot I find them generally friendly hard-working and helpful. Know any better I would swear there might be a Filipino Union of workers for fast food. Personally I think they should run all the businesses for fast food because they do such a great job. Anyhow at the end of the day good good food if you like burgers it's a NW what the heck am I going to say if you don't know by now you must be new to the country. Cuz I think just about everyone knows this restaurant brand and chain. How many generations are we into it now right. So for all of you who might not know NW Wherever You Are enjoy the alternative to McDonald's. And go for the fries they seem to be really really good. And if you like their fries you'll probably love Swiss chalets fries. And remember fries don't last long for Taste when they're cold doesn't matter where you go and reheating them seems really gross doesn't it. So there's your tip for the day...

I always buy at this location especially between past midnight to early morning, but this morning of Wednesday between 4:00 to 4:15 AM, I ordered burger for me and my wife through their drive thru. After giving my order I told the crew that I have a coupon but to my surprised, this lady crew exclaimed "I will give you the discount by the window" in an irritated manner. It wasn't pleasing to the ears so I said to my wife that this crew has bad manner. This is the first time I experienced this from this location and I planned not to get my order if not to my wife telling me to still get my order because it might get charged to the crew. So I waited at the window then I confronted this crew. She said that she was in a hurry thus her tone, but then she asked me what is wrong with her tone. I answered by immitating the way she said it then left. I understand how difficult it is to work the night shift as I always work night shifts too but this is not the right way to behave especially when you are...
