Ami Tea Heritage — Restaurant in Calgary

Because we live close by and we love vietnamese sandwiches and bubble tea I was super excited to go check this place out. I dragged my husband out in -20° and got there at 620pm. It is a small space with only bar window seating. We went up to the counter and ordered and paid. after we paid i pulled out a chair and sat down when they saw i was sitting down they asked if we are eating in and we said yes it is cold outside and we weren't going back home. They didnt want that eventhough there was still 35 mins until they close and they didn't mention anything as we ordered. So we were like okay we dont want take out and we canceled the order and left very disappointed. the only person that was remotely friendly was the older lady, the older man seemed annoyed as soon as we walked in. there was no apology. Couple of tips for the restaurant: if you dont want ppl to eat in mention that before payment also, sometimes you have to be a little flexible and stay a little late for customers. if you mention to the customer you will be closing soon most customers would be respectful and eat and leave asap. we were there 40 mins before closing and got...

What a hidden gem of the area for bubble tea drink and Vietnamese food!

I ordered the Classic Ami Panda bubble tea and Korean BBQ sub. The drink is similar to Brown Sugar latte at other franchises but I like it much better here as it is not too rich and the generous amount of 2 different kinds of pearl make the texture way better. The sub was a rock star with balanced taste of sweet, salty, sour and spicy taste. It was loaded of meat and really fresh veggies. The sub was quite big so it could easily feed you full, it was 2 servings for me.

Another bonus is the bright and sunny cozy nicely decorated place filled with so many pretty indoor plants. Very nice place and you would feel it right away as you walk in.

This place no doubt is the to-go bubble tea and quick meal hits. I highly recommend everyone visit this place if you're ever in the SW. Service, Quality, View and Prices...

Such a lovely menu with plenty of selection of new tea drinks! A very Pan Asian Canadian feel to the place. If you like to sit and relax in a place filled with lots of plants this could be your go to hang out for loveliness! Not too good at small talk is customer service nor do they know the menu that well. I figure the place is only two weeks old so give them a chance! The decor and design is wonderful. I ordered an Aloe Green Tea and it is refreshing and light! I will be back. At a five dollar price point I think the regular size could be bigger or the price be lower. Slightly racist management.
