I usually don’t write reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to speak up.
I stopped in for a sub today, and like others have said, they’re really stingy with their ingredients—especially the veggies. I’m not big on meat, so I specifically asked for extra cilantro and cucumbers. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t follow through. When I politely asked again, they added just a little more cilantro and some peanuts.
Their veggies are sliced extremely thin—almost paper thin—and honestly, it felt like I barely got any. I also noticed only three tiny slices of jalapeño on the entire sub. I don’t need overwhelming spice, but I couldn’t even taste a kick.
Friendly advice: Don’t cut corners on something as basic as veggies, especially when customers ask for more. We love subs and order them all the time from other places—never had an issue like this. Sadly, I...

Post reply edit: Yes, I am a skip driver. I am also a computer scientist, a parent, a volunteer, and yes, I am also a customer. Just because I had a skip bag with me that day does not mean that I only help support your take out business, I also love to support excellent local businesses by purchasing their products. Sometimes, I do that even when I am getting paid to make deliveries.
You let me down when I needed your help, and I have the right to let you know how disappointed and hurt I was that day. It's your business and your rules and I am alright with that so long as you are. But know this, you are rare in this line of thinking. I am grateful for that, otherwise, our work would be quite difficult.
Thank you to all of those businesses who care...
Read moreHave to give a 1 star for gouging customers. Extra sauce on the Vietnamese sub is $2.00. come on guys, that's a little steep don't you think?
In response to owners response:
Skip the dishes did contact me to say they would cover the charge for extra sauce this time but not in the future. The point I'm trying to make here is that charging a customer $2.00 for extra sauce on a sub is gouging. It's too much! I'm certain most customers would agree. An extra fee for extra sauce is fine, but I don't know of anyone else who changes that much. Maybe 50c or 75c and some add extra sauce for free. I mean I can add cheese or bacon other places for cheaper. Bottom line $2.00 is a lot to ask of your customers for extra sauce. And still the meat in our subs was dry. That's even after adding the...
