Stopped in to ask...do you sell slices and how much....expecting two for one offer or maybe can of pop added maybe 3 bucks total....what a surprise...3.50 for one tiny 4 inch square piece....then the guy offers me a "deal" ...only 2.50 each piece....thank you...surely you are dreaming...and I left... it maybe costs you 15 cents max to make that item and even at a buck or 99 cents ...a huge profit.... but if you want 350 or 250 cause of a very generous deal you offer ... just keep it. There is common sense you know....if you said 250 for two tiny pieces...smaller than most places have and can of pop also...I might have said ok...but one piece for that price is not a deal...the 7-11 a block away has better deals and a lot better prices. At lots of other places I can and do get much better pizza for a lot less...and huge pieces loaded with topping...not tiny squares mostly all bread dough and not much else.
I do know one thing...I would never after seeing that price idea ever think of ever buying a whole pizza there...what would it cost ? And then add expensive delivery....probably 100 bucks...or the better part of that...pretty expensive dinner then.
Be first n last time to stop there....a block away is 7-11...not totally wonderful...but dog gets a snack...I do too and a lot less than 5 bucks for both....nothing wrong with the food either...plus a variety of choices... compared to one tiny pizza piece, not much topping ...mostly just bread crust for 350 ??? Dog can have delicious chicken for a lot less...or eat kebabs with flavors...for 99 cents... not 350 a very tiny slice of mostly just bread....a few inches square one bite....who ever runs that place ought to go back to school and study marketing a lot better.
Reply to Owner Response It seems according to your reply and google map - you are at the other location - by the Desi Garage on 27 st... the location I refer to is 39 Ave and 32 St NE and cleary says Chicago DeepDish Pizza on the sign - and also DOES have pizza they do sell by the slice in the display cabinet beside the cashier. It's a block from 7-11. Beside it is a liquor store and next to that is a carwash. When you say that no location at all ever sells slice pizza - that location does .... and he has a sign... says chicago deep dish ...maybe you need to go look into that then .... all I know is when I saw price - it was just outrageous ... obviously that will affect if I ever order...
Read moreTHESE PEOPLE WORKING HERE ARE SO RUDE AND YELLED AT MY WIFE OVER THE PHONE AND IN PERSON FOR AN ORDER THEY MIXED UP AND THEY DONT DESERVE YOUR MONEY
Today was the first time ordering from this location. Right off the bat the phone operator was rude and short with my wife. Then our pizza comes in about 45 min, and we pay all seems great. We were starving and dove in and grabbed a piece, and half way through the slice we notice our pizza that was suppose to be half and half, is not( was hard to tell if it was different since the whole surface was cheese)
Then she call s the pizza place to let them know our order was mixed up. My wife starts to says that the pizza was wrong and gets cut off and was yelled at when she said we took a bite. He asks if she took only one bite, like they could have still sold it or something and she tries to say something and he cuts her off every time and then she is told the delivery driver will come with the right pizza. He shows up and my wife answers the door and the driver starts asking if we had touched it, and she starts to say that we couldn't tell it wasn't right and just grabbed a piece and started eating it like any normal person, and the driver starts yelling at her( loud enough to scare her) saying she touched the pizza so that one is hers now and yells more once she tries to say a word about it and starts to walk away with our pizza! She quickly says this is not our fault as he is walking away and he grabs the pizza out of her hands and shoves the other into her hands in such a rude and disrespectful way then storms away. This guy was lucky I was in the washroom or I would have slapped some sense into the guy for being so rude to my wife and I regret giving him a good tip now. The pizza was ok, but we will never order from here again and suggest everyone go to a place that can treat women with respect. No customer should have to...
Read moreOne star because zero isn’t an option. How can the health inspector allow food prepared here to be served to humans. It would be more believable that they are trafficking humans here, than making pizza. I walked past their papered out windows so nobody can see inside, through the room full of computers that are likely scamming elderly out of their life savings, through another room with a guy laying on the floor, bare feet hanging out, scrolling his phone (maybe the delivery driver if anyone was dumb enough to place an order), to the counter where my pizza was. I of course immediately asked for a refund and said I will not eat food prepared in these conditions, they said no. So I left and drove over to the nearest McDonald’s to receive some food that is equally disgusting, I almost never eat McDonalds, but it seemed like a better options as they at least have some form of health standards. Highly recommend you eat literally anywhere but here, not even the desperate and starving should consume food from here, never seen anything this...
