COBS Bread — Restaurant in Calgary

I tend not to put comments on social media. However, this week’s experience necessitated me to share! I have been purchasing bread products from this location for a number of years. I have always found their products to be fresh (DELICIOUS!!!) and the staff very helpful and friendly. Last weekend I purchase 4 pizza bases for a family dinner we were having. A couple of the pizza bases were not pulled properly (they were much too thin at one end and too thick at another for us to use). Being one who believes in providing feedback in hopes to improve product, I contacted the Cobs' manager Jeremy. I explained what had happened but that I was not able to return the unused pizza bottoms until the next day. He was very empathic and apologized for the pizza bottoms not being up to the standard I was accustomed to. He also told me not to worry about returning the pizza bottoms as I had already been inconvenienced enough. Before ending our phone call he offered me complimentary pizza bottoms the next time I came. This morning I went to pick up my pizza bottoms. Jeremy came out front and introduced himself. We spoke briefly. He thanked me for the call again (that it was greatly appreciated) and for drawing his attention to a product that could be improved upon. I was so impressed to see that he gave this amount of attention and time to his products and his costumers. I explained that my goal was to provide feedback to make improvement and not to simply make a complaint for the sake of venting. After arriving home I used the pizza bottoms. They were tasty as always and just the way they should be (evenly pulled). This used to be my go to Cobs location, but they have reduced the frequency of the low FODMAP bread and now that aspens not making it at all, this is the second time I’ve showed up in the morning and they are already sold out. Super frustrating as this bread is a life saver in our family!! Please give the franchise management feedback I know it’s a speciality item but more days of availability is important so those of us that don’t live conveniently located to get here on a weekend. I am a huge fan of Cobbs bread and usually go to the one in marda loop. This evening I called ahead asking for a loaf of focaccia bread; I explained I was across the street but would be there by 8 before close to buy the bread. I drive there and arrive on the dot. I was promptly and rudely turned away despite having a conversation on the phone 5 minutes prior as the staff was throwing the bread into garbage bags.
