My absolute favourite cafe in Calgary! šŸ¤

The atmosphere is cozy, and you’re greeted with warmth the moment you walk in. Loza is the sweetest! I’ve sat here for hours while doing work and have been able to see that most of the people who come through the door already know her, and she knows them too. It feels less like customers and more like a community of friends.

And no worries if you’re more introverted, it never feels intimidating! This space is just as welcoming and comfortable no matter who you are.

I would highly recommend this spot for anyone needing to do work or study, as it’s never too crowded and everyone is very respectful with their volume (it’s always felt way more quiet here compared to any other cafe I’ve been too). It has larger tables as well if you ever want to have group get together (book clubs, meeting with clients etc.).

The food is delicious as well and is freshly made, my favourite combination is the Iced Matcha Latte and Ham & Cheese croissant! Though any of the baked goods and breakfast omelette’s are delicious.

All in all, I could continue raving on about this place, but if you’re looking for a new cafe to try out, make this one...

My car was broken down another business in the same strip mall all weekend. On Sunday morning we went up to get it going and my partner parked at Coffee Cats Cafe as there was absolutely no place else for him to park to check the car out so that the other business spot wouldn't be blocked for longer. I decided to grab a quick coffee and my mistake, I own this, was to not go in to Coffee Cats Cafe first to see if they have coconut milk as I am allergic to dairy and almonds. As I walked over to Second Cup I was humiliatingly yelled at for parking in the parking spot. Fair enough, so, I went into Coffee Cats Cafe to purchase the coffee instead and inside unfortunately the belittling continued. No questions on circumstances. Just assumptions. Not only did I feel belittled in front of other customers, but although my coffee was labelled coconut milk there must have been dairy in the cup or it was mislabelled, as I had an instant reaction. The icing on the cake - the coffee was a...

I love this place. The owner and her brother are lovely. Food is good. Decor is... Well its a family owned coffee shop don't expect the louvre šŸ˜….

I saw a negative review here about an interaction with someone who just came in and was waiting for a friend. Didnt order anything. When they asked for the wifi password they got told "it will be on your receipt" Hahahahaha. I believe it 🤣.

On the other hand. I biked in to the shop, my second time ever being there, and realized I must have forgot my wallet. I couldn't find it in my pockets so I said "wait wait wait, I forgot my wallet I have to go get it" and she said to me "oh don't worry, you can pay me next time, don't worry".

I hope that gives you a clearer picture of this cafe. This is a small business run by two people, with personality, who care. Not some mega chain with a bunch of hired employees and a customer is always right...

I found this place while wanting to get out of the house and get some work done, and I’m thrilled I went here. This place was a nice little stop to do some work and had a great cup of coffee and some breakfast. The omelette was amazing (I got the meat lovers) and filled with cheese and a generous amount of meat. The side of potatoes were cooked perfectly too, which is always a plus! The atmosphere is so relaxing and warm! They also seem to have some Jazz nights which is going to be my wife and my next date night! They also serve liquor and beer (it was a bit early for my liking to have a pint) which I’m sure would also be top notch!

Quiet little cafe in a strip mall serving coffees and some food items. The server was a little cold and snappy, not really the warm greeting I’d expect in a family run business. Croissants filled with ham and cheese were average, nothing so special about the flavour. I saw reviews about the coffee cake but it looked dry and burnt. The coffee had a smooth roast but I felt it was weak and lacked depth of flavour. Would have preferred a stronger brew. Seating available and there was wifi but the password was not provided. There was gentle jazz playing and it would be good ambience, wish the food and beverages were tastier.
