De Minico's — Restaurant in Calgary

Walking in we were greeted by a wall of pasta sauce that was made fresh and a feeling of comfort set in. Kind of like walking into your grandma's kitchen. Ordering was easy and quick and the gentleman there was very nice and very friendly. We waited outside on the dining table and our food was brought to us. I haven't had such a good pizza since living in New York. The calzone I ordered was cooked to perfection and the flavor was simply amazing! It definitely lives up to the expectations. Got the pepperoni, mushroom and green pepper pizza - freshly made within about 10 minutes. Pizza tasted as good as it looks - fresh toppings, good amount of cheese and nice light crust. Definitely worth the drive in the -30 weather today.

I also got a pizza kit - will make my own pizza at home.

$20 for pizza and $9.50 for pizza kit. Really good value.

The owner is friendly and mentioned they’re expanding to have sit down area in future.

Unbelievable, Family owned and Run, I happend to purchase one of the sauces from Calgary Co-op, loved it!! Found out it was a local business here in Calgary, tracked them down and was blown away!! Brothers and the Father helping out, clean facility , I love this stuff!! Ordered a pizza to go and the office loved it!! Had to pick one up on the way home for the kids! Im hooked! Lol ..
