I got a ready to go slice, a 500ml water, and a can of pop. It ended up costing 8.40$. A bit pricey, there were no prices on the drinks, but I saw her ring up 6$ and 2$. I can only assume either a slice of pizza is 6$ and drinks are $1 each. Or the pizza was 2$, and each drink was 3$.(If that's the case, I should've just got 4 slices, lol!)
It was pretty pricey, but I guess I can't expect cheap in Kensington.
The pizza was about average, crust was pretty stale and the pizza tasted like a frozen one from Costco. I think it had been sitting out a while as it wasn't very busy. It was good but I think I'll order fresh if I ever visit again. They only had 1 pizza ready to go at 1230pm, which makes me think they don't get many walk-in customers.
I don't wanna be too much of a critic, but CPU is way cheaper and tastier, in my opinion.
The menu is all written by hand in chalk. I get its a small business, but they're charging big business prices. I could have gotten a whole little ceasers pizza lol, just disappointed with the quality of my overpriced...
Read moreEarlier this year, I happened upon this place quite casually. Driven by hunger on my way home, I looked for the nearest restaurant. Believing this might have been a bad day, I called to inform them about the undercooked pizza. The individual who answered the call defended their cooking style. I expressed that it was significantly different from my previous order, but he stood firm, not acknowledging the difference. When I shared my dissatisfaction, he casually reassured me that the pizza would be better next time. My response was clear: there wouldn't be a next time.
To sum up, it's important not to become overly defensive when a customer offers feedback. My experience with the pizza today, unfortunately, was far...

I’ve been to Demetris Pizza in Kensington a few times now, and it never disappoints. The pizza is seriously good fresh ingredients, great crust, and they don’t skimp on the toppings. You can tell it’s made with care, not just rushed out like in some places.
The staff here are always friendly and welcoming, and the service is consistently quick and smooth. Whether you’re dining in or doing takeout, they really make you feel like a valued customer. You can tell they take pride in what they do, which makes the whole experience even better.
It’s a chill, cozy place to grab a bite. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m craving pizza in Calgary....
