Dover Pizza Steak House and Lounge — Restaurant in Calgary

My wife and I searched for a place that had good pizza and for years were sadly disappointed until, we stumbled upon little Dover Pizza. WOW!! Best pizza we've had in many of years. Eat in, take out, always super delicious. We found the place that satisfied that pizza craving......... 🤔 Until recently. Dover pizza, we don't know what you people have done to that very tasty crust but when asked about whether the recipe or the crust was changed at a dine in, the poor waitress couldn't answer as it was absolutely horrible. After leaving we thought, this has to have been a mistake and we'll give them another chance. We'll yesterday was their chance at redemption and they FAILED MISERABLY. Dover pizza management, if you are try to cut costs for more profit, this just backfired into your faces. Not only do we never go back, we have to stop the recommendations of the fantastic pizza as WE, don't want to be embarrassed by YOUR sorry to say, Lousy crusted pizza and you lost OUR BUSINESS, but the business of our recommendation customers. I just wanted to leave a five star review which I would give ten stars if I could. I'm visiting my daughter and grandchildren and thought I would order us some food as a treat. I like the food from here, but I recently moved out of Calgary, and because I was feeding the children, I thought I would try skip online. I'm not sure what I did wrong, but when I went to look for my order.It said that i chose pickup, but really I wanted delivery so I guess I made a mistake, but it was my first time. I called Dover Pizza and they graciously offered to deliver my food for the delivery fee of course which is totally reasonable. And they delivered it really fast which surprised me at how fast it was. The food was all delicious.The kids loved the pizza and I loved my steak. The food is great. I had the chicken and rib special with baked potato, I ended up taking half the ribs and half the chicken home. I tell you what you don't have to leave that place hungry, ever. the portions are great the food is great and the girl or lady, I should say that waited on us was amazing she had a good sense of humor and she knew how to do her job. we didn't have to ask twice for anyting actually we didn't have to even ask once for anything it was just there.
