Winton Restaurant Chinese Food — Restaurant in Calgary

The food here is absolutely terrible. Ordered beef chop suey. Got a container that was half water a couple pieces of beef and a bunch of bean sprouts (no vegetables!) Sweet and sour pork... was the brightest died red concoction with no flavor! Dry garlic boneless pork... looked like beef and was not dry or boneless. Chicken chowmein... greasy think noodles that looked and tasted like swollen itchiban noodles. Egg rolls... dry and flavorless. Deep fried shrimp... the only thing was even slightly edible. Dont waste your money supporting this place. When I called to complain the owner said it's against policy to refund unhappy customers even though we had to throw everything out. Ginger Beef - stale, dry save for old grease, tasted like old oil. Not even dumped sauce on to mask it.

Sou Gai Chicken - mushy batter (gross amount of it) on what appears to be a frozen chicken breast - it was cooked. That is the best I can say! Chicken Fried Rice - passable flavor. Not fresh. Has chewy bits and some of the old oil flavor seeped across.

Can't even feed it to the dog. Truly disappointed to have waited for this, such that other options are now not a possibility.

The worst Chinese food I ever had... didn't even finish the leftovers.

Most items didn't have any meat in it for example I got Curry Shrimp and it was all vegetables with maybe 3 pieces of shrimp. The wonton soup tasted really off I've actually never not liked wonton soup and I through this one away cause I didn't trust it. The ginger beef was tough and flavorless. I also got salt and pepper squid... I've never seen a salt and pepper squid dish that had no peppers and onions it was literally overcooked breaded squid with what I assume was cajun powder. The only decent item was the seafood and broccoli that I enjoyed.

Also the rice didn't taste fresh either that's pretty key item for a Chinese food...
