Feel Good Café — Restaurant in Calgary

Feb 27 2022: The owner’s response and lack of interest in owning upto their employees’ inappropriate behaviour, which I clearly described below, only speaks of their ignorance and nothing else. I would only hope that they can explain the situation before calling a review “fake” and a patron “naive”. At the least, a business should be able to take customer feedback, based on their experience and try to improve!

Feb 24 2022: to owner’s response- After the 5th time of asking I finally had mentioned to the staff that I was using my own hotspot and there was absolutely no response, and all they did was listened to what I had to say and look away with zero word. Quite ignorant and an unfortunate experience for a first time client. Sorry.

Have been here once and experienced horrible customer service. Quite discriminative. The same staff members that had a very friendly approach to their regulars, would barely show any interest to respond to my one question, even after the 5th attempt. Definitely not going back or recommending to...

I almost hate to give this café a great review, because the delicious sandwich muffins might be gone by the time I get there. Interned in the muffin is a baked egg, encompassed in a blanket of green onions, bacon, cheese and muffin. I make sure to stop by, whenever I'm on that side of the city.

I buy them to share with coworkers, family and the breakfast muffins freeze well.

The owner is nice and makes a variety of fresh muffins daily. Tried a carrot nut muffin with nuts and brown sugar, topped with an almond. The top texture was like a coffee cake. There wasn't any nuts in the middle, but I'd go just for the muffin tops if they sold them.

This is a small cozy cafe, tucked away beside the walk-in medical clinic near HomeSense. I might not have found this great place if it weren't for having to see the doctor. So glad I did. The owner was so kind and patient with me as I changed my mind a few times and she even let me have a free taster of her homemade soup to help me decide what I wanted. I don't usually have much soup in the summer but hers was so refreshing and seemed to wrap its arms around me. Is it possible to feel better just from homemade soup? :) There is a warm welcoming feeling of community in this secret coffee house. I look forward to my next visit when I will definitely be treating my self to the homemade Nanaimo bars...
