Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Calgary

Review for employees working Tuesday, November 19th around 7:30 PM.

Well, where do I begin? The scene was like a strange performance art piece, with one employee making burritos, one at the cash register inspecting her nails like she was prepping for a manicure, and the rest of the crew—about 5-6 people—doing the job of one. While the line continued to grow longer, We waited patiently, hoping they would eventually realize that someone might need to, you know, actually make food. And sure enough, eventually they did—kind of. When it was finally our turn, my wife and I had two different people make our orders, which was fine, except one person clearly thought they were preparing a family-sized feast while the other was rationing ingredients like we were in a post-apocalyptic world. My wife got a healthy portion that could’ve fed an army, and I got a serving that left me questioning whether the burrito was a prank or if what she was making was only the first half. If I’d known I was supposed to “pay extra” for more rice, I would’ve been prepared.

I understand opening a new restaurant is like trying to teach a baby to walk, but this was more like watching it crawl into traffic. Do better, folks. It’s not just about the food, it’s about the experience. And this one… definitely...

If i could give 0 stars i would we came in as a family of 4 one of us orderd the new steak bowl were told 5 min wait for the meat ok fine so the rest of the family order while i waited we had to pay togher so they obviously were waiting for me to eat. We were standing there for five minutes. I went over asked about my bowl that is sitting there with the rice the beans no meat getting cold asked if the meat was ready they said another five minutes so now we’ve waited 10 minutes for it. K 10 minutes goes by we come back. Can I get the steak for that bowl? We have to wait another five minutes are you serious so 15 minutes now at this point they’ve served maybe 20 customers in between that time so I’m just assuming they forgot about us three times. So by the third time we asked about it we were complaining saying the other three bowls that my family ordered are now sitting here cold. My food is sitting here cold and I haven’t gotten my food so they remade his bowl even after waiting 15 minutes for something that we shouldn’t have had to wait that long for Didn’t offer any discounts and they didn’t even apologize really unfortunate because it was two of our family members first time here sad to say I don’t think we’ll be back this was on Friday September 19 at 2:30 in...

I went and honestly loved it!

There could always be freshness issues or something in places like this but not the case here. Really great to see and eat. Lettuce was romaine and green. Tomatoes were red lol

I mean man fast food places I’m sure we can agree could have almost white or brown lettuce or almost white pink gross tomatoes. Here everything looked amazing! And tasted great!

Staff was super friendly eager, so that was nice. I didn’t know you could ask for more so in some elements I didn’t get only a tiny amount but they were super kind to adjust and add a bit more on at the end. I try not to be too greedy. lol but I am also tiny looking so people do not assume to initially offer or give me a man-size portion.

None the less I left happy and full. I did a bowl. I’ll take a picture next time. Was so hungry I didn’t stop to take one before diving in.

Did all the veggie option with their veggie protein. So glad to find this and it be fresh & tasty.

Will make now my new stop as much as I can when I am in the area.

I do love that if you eat in everything is compostable. So keep that up too. Small but modern and clean. And if it was summer a...
