Gondola Incomparable Pizza — Restaurant in Calgary

Not typically a person to leave reviews or tips when pickup. Especially the first time i try a new place this time was different.

As somewhat of a pizzapreneur I've tried over 100 pizza places with at least 50 in calgary alone. Can't say much about the regular crust pizza but the thin crust pizza here is something I've been looking for for quite awhile. Fair warning tho it's not a thin crust to overload with toppings. Suggest keeping it to 1 or 2. The flavors of the toppings will pop in a way you just don't get with other places.

What makes it truly incomparable is the crust. It's so thin you get that crunch your looking for with a hint of the soft fluffyness (very very thin). Almost like a baked tortilla with a second softer layer on top.

There's not much sauce but it's just the right amount. No cheaping out on cheese either. But not so much that it becomes greasy. I can't believe I'm saying that as I'm typically a quadruple cheese kinda person.

Not only was the pizza great but the people are to. Despite not receiving a tip they included an extra can of pop for us despite not receiving a tip or having any idea that they would receive any kind of review.

I'm not sure I'll be trying the original crust tho as the thin was just so good. But if that's your sort of thing give it a go.

I just have 2 other places I've really liked for thicker crust pizzas. To give a hint one ads sweet sauce witb there pizza sauce. The other adds eggs to the cheese to get a extra crispy top. I have to say this goes on my list in the top 3 best pizza places in calgary. And is number 1 for thin crust.

Next time they will get a tip... but more importantly for them....there will be a next time in the very...

DO NOT EAT HERE First of all. My pizza had a hair sat right on the top of it. Secondly, and almost more appallingly, I ordered their ‘baked ravioli’ and was disgusted to realize is was just canned Chef Boyardee ravioli with some cheese on it. I am absolutely flummoxed as to why a restaurant would serve canned ravioli like Chef Boyardee

I called the restaurant to explain how uncool that is, cause seriously, that is not cool man. The person I was speaking to could barely understand what I was saying so that was hopeless there. Terrible service. Worse food.

I do not recommend Gondola Incomparable Pizza. How do they have 10...

Without a doubt, one of the best pizza places in Calgary. The owners are incredibly friendly, produce consistent food, and remember their regulars! If you love thin-crust pizza, this is one pizza restaurant you HAVE to try!

My wife and I have been ordering from here for years, we have hosted parties at our house and ordered pizza and pasta from here and our guests raved about how good it is! I have also talked to other regulars when picking up pizza and have heard nothing but positive feedback.

I have no idea what the negative review is talking about, probably just a local competitor looking to bad-mouth a superior...
