Gong cha Lincoln Park — Restaurant in Calgary

Went in today with my girlfriend and ordered a croffle. We were the only 2 customers in the store during our visit, and my girlfriend got her tea right away, however, we ended up waiting over 15 minutes for the croffle for some reason. I kept looking at the back and could see the 2 workers were just sitting on their phones and not working. Finally, the girl noticed me waiting at the counter after 15 minutes and seemed panicked, as if she forgot about the croffle. She then served it to me and it was BLACK, burned to a crisp, obviously forgotten about while it was cooking. It was obvious it was not edible as it was charred, but she...

Just okay. We came at night and could see that the staff were slammed with take out orders. Despite that, they were very friendly. We did have to wait an extra long time (15-20 minutes) for our drinks and saw a few people that came in after us get served before us. I suspect that they forgot our order in the rush.

Otherwise, service was good. Drinks themselves are only okay. The oolong tea was weak and without much flavour and the toppings were similarly bland. The pearls also were a bit mushy and more chewy like they should be. The fruit slushes are better; more flavorful...

Really good service. For now it’s always been slow whenever I went so they’ve been super quick with the drinks. The soft open menu is a bit limited but still has really good options. I’ve liked everything I had so far! Pearls have good flavour and are soft and chewy. Prices are way more affordable than other places nearby too. If you show a student card you get a keychain while supplies last. Will be here a lot, especially in midterm season. I just wish they’d have a loyalty stamp card or introduce warm/hot...
