I have two issues with this restaurant today. First, I was dropping in after receiving instruction from your Support Group to pick up a new Physical Rewards Card at any Tim's location that I could add to my new account set up under my new email. The initial young lady on cash was quite pleasant but wasn't sure what to do. She asked for assistance and the lady that came out may have been the manager though she never identified as same. I repeated my request for a Physical Rewards Card explaining that Tim's Support advised they were still a thing and could be found at the franchise. She told me quite tersely that no, in fact, there were no physical cards and that everything had switched over to the phone app. She also stated they cannot even order Physical Cards for their location anymore. That would be something I have no access to as my phone is simply a phone and text device, it has no data or internet capability. She responded, "Why can't your phone do the app?" in a tone that implied I was too old or perhaps dumb to understand. She held her ground that there were no Physical Tim's Rewards Cards anymore. Incidentally, another Tim's location about 3 km away happily handed me a stack of rewards cards and said "pick one out". Then the gal proceeded to give me a little coaching on where I'd find the page to link this new card to my account online.
I had, while waiting to speak to her, ordered my breakfast. A classic bacon breakfast wrap, hash browns and a large, steeped tea with two milks. The young lady repeated the order back to me so I'm quite sure she input it correctly. When I carried my breakfast out to my car, I discovered that the alleged steeped tea was actually a coffee with 2 milks. Super frustrated at this point I went back in placed the cup on the counter, explained it was coffee and not the tea I'd ordered. I got an offhand shrug from the lady (not the original young one) who was at the counter and rather than argue I just left. Totally disappointed with the utter lack of customer service at this location, though they're close to my home, I...
Read moreWent to the drive thru for coffee and donut holes. We are traveling and not from Canada, so whenever we visit we make it a point to support local businesses such as Tim Hortons. I was looking for an iced blended coffee and had to ask due to it not showing anything about said drink on the menu. I asked for a "frappucino" and the drive thru person replied in a very fake & condescending customer service voice "frappucino is Starbucks". The person was very impatient and condescending with us. When we pulled up at the window to pay and get our orders, three people were looking at us: a lady, the guy handing our orders and another guy behind him with microphone on his head which we assume is the person we were speaking with. He has a very distinct voice and accent (verified when he spoke to another drive thru customer in line) and then proceeded to talking in a hush tone and looking at us not so nicely. It's such a disappointing visit. We just wanted good coffee and some donuts for our children. First time getting this kind of treatment from a TH...
Read moreCame to order a breakfast wrap that I order literally every morning. They claimed that they couldn’t make it for me. I requested a sausage breakfast wrap-the one that doesn’t come with a hash brown in it. They tired to charge me for the one with a hash brown, so I requested they put on the side and they then tried to charge me for another hash brown that I wouldn’t be receiving. I refused to pay this as I know they have the wrap without the hash brown that is less than $5, nor almost $6. They were beyond rude and told me this was the one time they’d do it for me and if I wanted it, to go somewhere else because it was “a policy from corporate.” I haven’t been back since and continue to go to the one on crowchild that makes the wrap, because they do still have the wrap at the normal cost and it is NOT a corporate policy. I will never be back to this location and inform anyone who asks about the terrible...
