Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Calgary

The food isn't bad, but I'd really appreciate it if the manager would stop trying to force their employees to "upsell" drinks and guacamole, to the point where they get lectured and reprimanded in front of the entire line-up of people, that they aren't trying hard enough... I understand it's a business and all, but it would be alot less negative for me as the customer to see - and for the employee getting lectured about their job - if the manager would just trust them enough to let them upsell by themselves, without direct manager interference. Because honestly, I probably would get myself the drink, if the manager would stop forcing the issue amongst their staff.

Speaking of drinks, why is there no Jarritos? Just getting a little tired of not seeing more... appropriate, drinks for a place that prides itself on Mexican cuisine. It doesn't have to be alcohol - just literally anything that isn't Coca Cola...

The lady working the counter refused to put lettuce on my burrito because apparently lettuce is only saved for burrito bowls. I have been going to Mucho Burrito for years and adding lettuce has never been a problem. Then upon checkout I wanted to use my loyalty card and she said they did not accept those cards. However, I have used my loyalty card before there several times. The location even had signage up saying that they accept loyalty cards and I pointed that out to her but it didn't seem to matter. She blamed it on a change in management. If that is the case, then I won't be returning to this location if this is the service I will receive...

It was a decent burrito but the staff here ALWAYS skimp on the toppings. It’s happened to me several times before. Today I had a burrito and the woman serving me literally put three pieces of cabbage on my burrito when I asked for the coleslaw... I was just like, “really?” And she sassed me saying, “that’s how much the serving is on a regular burrito.” Literally every other Mucho Burrito place I’ve been to puts on a decent amount of toppings you ask for - but not this place. 100% do not recommend unless you want...
