OUTSTANDING FOOD Little Lebanon serves exceptional Lebanese dishes that stand out for their taste and quality. The baklavas are perfectly sweet and flaky, and the beef and / or chicken shawarmas are tender and flavourful, making it a popular choice for many Calgarians. FRIENDLY SERVICE The staff at Little Lebanon consistently provide welcoming and attentive service, creating a comfortable and inviting dining experience. As a family-run business, Little Lebanon extends a sense of warmth and generosity that adds to its appeal. The recent renovations have been a wonderful asset to this restaurant! Mia provided excellent food service and packed our food up with enthusiasm. She truly brightened up our day! CLEAN FACILITIES The restaurant maintains clean and well-kept washrooms, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Customers appreciate the regular maintenance. PARKING CHALLENGE The only drawback is limited parking during busy hours, which may require finding street parking nearby. It’s best to avoid peak hours to avoid lineups and wait times. SUMMARY Little Lebanon offers delicious food, friendly service, and a cozy environment, making it a great spot for Lebanese cuisine. It’s best to plan your visit accordingly to avoid lineups, parking challenges and to optimize your overall experience. Annie W. Master Reviewer Local Guide / Google Maps

My wife suggested eating here as recommended by an acquaintance. We walked in and noticed a steady stream of traffic picking up food here so we felt confident. We chose the Chicken Shawarma Platter with garlic potatoes. We asked to have the sauces on the side so we could try the chicken by itself. The chicken was flavorful and slightly dry but would have been balanced with sauce on top. The sauce was garlicky and impactful. I ended up slathering the sauce over the chicken and rice along with dipping the potatoes in it. The rice was cooked well and decent. The potatoes were tender, but they needed the accompanied sauce. The salad was ok. We also grabbed some pita chips and were offered a free baklava. The pita chips were crispy, and our kids enjoyed them. The baklava was typical. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at Little Lebanon Pita Pies & Donairs.

I was craving something hearty for lunch and started browsing local spots online. There were plenty of options, but the reviews for the shawarma and donair at this place really stood out—so I decided to give it a try. While I was checking out the menu, one of the staff members kindly asked if I had any questions. I mentioned I usually go for a donair, and he suggested I try the pocket donair instead. I was hungry, everything smelled amazing, and I was totally game. The service was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and they even offered me a little treat after I paid. As for the food? The pocket donair was absolutely delicious. Packed with flavor, super satisfying, and definitely lived up to the hype. I’ll be making the trip across town a few times a month just to eat here again. Highly recommend. Keep up the great work!

Food is good however prices are misrepresentative. I am here writing this review because the owner of this place served me himself, and I raised the issue pf pricing with him with absolutely NO response from him or help to resolve my grievance. Absolutely not interested in making customers happy, because they have so many. why bother!!

I happened to order two chicken shawarmas, one in small and one in regular size (for $2 extra). However both shawarmas are the same size....when I ask him, his reply, accompanied with throwing his hands in the air, was that he can not do anything about it as this is how he gets his wraps from the supplier. my obvious reply is that he should not charge more, and only off one size/one price for the shawarmas, to which he says...this is what you get, i can not do anything about it.

its a shame they are out there doing business with no regards to customer service, and responding to a complaint by saying they can not do anything about it. He is the owner, he can decide on the spot that the pricing IS incorrect and charge accordingly, yet he charged me full amount. The only recourse available is to offer a review here and other forums to ensure people are aware...

My wife and I went there and while standing in the line they gave us free juicy and tender baklavas! I really liked it.

We ate chicken shawarma and falafel wrap. As my wife was pregnant, she asked to cook the whole falafel wrap (including its vegetables in order to sterilize). They were welcome it and cooked it in the oven with fresh dough (so they did not wrapped it in an ordinary pita bread). The outcome was impressive.

My chicken shawarma was good but it was a little bit overcooked though.

The other day we went there ordered "donair pocket" which is donair wrapped in fresh cooked dough. It was mind-blowing!

Cons:

1- Ovens and those rotating shawarma devices made the store so hot that we could not take it and sat outside. 2 - The decor and chairs/tables were horrible and was not suitable for family or group of people.

Pros:

1- Tasty food. 2 - Friendly staff 3 - reasonable prices 5 - delicious baklava. 6 - convenient parking lot. 7 - decent variety of foods.

We go back some time to try its...
