On a Saturday afternoon after work, I decided to treat my wife and myself to some pho. I visited their website, reviewed their menu, and called just after noon to place my order. I ordered one Beef Pho and one Beef Satay Pho. They informed me that it would be ready in 10-15 minutes, which was perfect since I still needed to drive there.

Upon arriving, I was greeted by a friendly gentleman at the front. He inquired about my day and my plans for the rest of the day. He also offered me a glass of water while I waited, which I appreciated.

The food was carefully packed in cardboard boxes for easy transportation. However, I noticed that the prices on the menu online didn’t match the prices I paid. I think it was slightly more expensive than I had anticipated, but it wasn’t too far off. Perhaps the prices should be updated on the website.

Trying the pho at home, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The beef satay had the perfect amount of spice for me, and I added the peanut sauce, which I love. The bean sprouts and herbs were fresh and flavorful. My wife’s regular pho was also tasty, with a hard-to-describe, almost sweet and nutty taste that was pleasant.

Overall, I had a great experience with the pho and would likely return...

I recently dined at a local Pho restaurant and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and the ambiance of the restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with dim lighting and tasteful decor that gave the restaurant a comfortable and relaxed vibe.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the Pho. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices and herbs that truly elevated the dish. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection, and the noodles were perfectly cooked, with just the right texture. The fresh herbs and veggies that came with the dish were a delightful addition, and really added to the overall taste and presentation of the Pho.

However, the one downside of my experience was the portion size. The Pho came in a smaller bowl than I was used to, which left me feeling a bit disappointed. While the quality of the food was excellent, the smaller portion size did not leave me feeling completely satisfied.

Overall, I would highly recommend this Pho restaurant for its exceptional food and ambiance. However, if you have a big appetite, you may want to consider ordering an extra dish or a larger portion size to ensure you leave feeling...

Great little family run restaurant. I have known Paul, the owner of the restaurant for about a year now. They are a great family and aim to use the best ingredients.

The ground beef used in the subs and vermicelli dishes is particularly lean.

Restaurant has excellent food overall and good portions. This little cafe is a little bit busy at times, and the hours are tight. If you managed to go during a non-peak time, its a great place to sit and think.

I have to say that the service is always excellent, and this family really cares about the food that their restaurant puts out. The servers at lunch are quick and polite, and they're great people to talk to.

This restaurant's strength is definitely the sate beef. I haven't eaten sate beef in Calgary quite like the sate here. Because of this, the Vietnamese sate beef sub is fantastic.

PS. Make sure you order some tea - they have really funky cups. Unfortunately the cups are only right handed, so you might find it a little awkward if you are...

Little Saigon Bistro is an absolute treasure! The food is outstanding, with flavors so bold and rich they’ll have your taste buds writing thank-you notes. I tried the Bun Bo Hue for the first time, and let’s just say it won’t be the last—I may or may not have already cleared space in my calendar for future visits. The service is top-notch, with a team so friendly and welcoming they might make you feel like a VIP. And the price-to-portion ratio? Phenomenal. You get so much for what you pay, it feels like you’re getting a steal (legally, of course). I can’t wait to return and work my way through the rest of their menu. Highly recommend this gem!

WOW! Amazing! I have been hunting for Authentic Bún Bò Huê for a while - the kind with the perfect amount of prawn paste so it's not fishy tasting, noodles not over cooked, blood and oxtail not just pho beef ... this was so impressive! The only thing this place is lacking is chè ba maù/Chè daç biêt (don't know the accents but it's the 3 bean dessert and it's so hard to find...) The soup was delicious will definitely come again!
