McDonald's — Restaurant in Calgary

There was no ketch up and not a single small cup for ketchup. The staff were extremely unprofessional and unfriendly. I informed staff that there is no ketchup and no small cups. The staff listened but never acted on it. I waited for more than 30 minutes but still neither ketchup nor small cups for ketchup were put in their place for customers. I asked staff to refill the ketchup and put the small cups for ketchup in their place twice but it never happened. Most ridiculous experience ever. Never coming back here again no matter what. They deserve negative 5 stars. I am attaching two photos (Right side and left side of the counter where things like straws, lids, tissues, ketchup etc are kept. In the first photo (Left side of counter), even the container of ketchup is missing from the counter along with the small cups. In the second photo (Right side of counter), the container of ketchup can be seen but it was empty. I had ordered one more burger after and a thick shake after my previous order. Guess what, even after 60 minutes of me asking them to refill ketchup, still my issue wasn't resolved and ketchup and cups were not refilled. I totally understand that these things need to be refilled from time to time but not refilling them even after when a customer is asking you to, that's utterly unprofessional and disgusting behavior. The staff were laughing, having fun, cracking jokes and comments but were not working on refilling stuff. Also the dryer in men's washroom was not working. I wasted my time and energy coming to this McDonald's. I have been visiting this particular McDonald's frequently as it's close to my house. But I would be going to a farther location from now on as customer service is important for me. Never coming back here again. I have learnt my lesson. Guys, avoid this McDonald's...

Even if everyone rated the place as one star I don't think the owner and management would get it! I used to go here on a regular basis years ago so my friend and I decided to give it a whirl. That was a massive mistake. First thing when you walk in there are electronic boards to complete your own order which are in the way impeding a natural flow for customers. We went to the till to order two sundaes. The person had a limited grasp of the language. It is ridiculous how it is arranged. If there is no customer at the till than that person is supposedly running around like a chicken with his head cut off as they try to fill orders. There is no rhyme or reason to the place. It is chaotic and disorganized. You can see your number on the board as your order is being filled. What a joke. Our number was stuck in the same position for eons before we finally got our order. People wait in a random manner for their order in a confined space. It felt like being in a cattle drive with all the cows darting off in different directions. It is a good thing that we didn't have large orders, otherwise, we would be still waiting.

It is interesting to note that every time the minimum wage rises and when going to places like the above you become quite aware of how overworked and understaffed the place is run. Stop being el cheapo and hire more staff and apply some organization to the place My experience with you was bottom of the barrel and certainly will not rush back. There are many other restaurants that are properly staffed and well organized. Get your act together...

I don't normally write negative reviews but I am very frustrated with the service at this McDonalds, I ordered some food at 12:22am and did not receive my full order until 12:51am which is almost 30 minutes, an unreasonable amount or time for a fast food restaurant, especially when they were not very busy in the middle of the night. 15 minutes into my wait the staff told me that they were just waiting on the apple pies I ordered, which I assumed meant only a few more minutes, not 15! The staff should have informed me when I placed my order that Apple pies would take half an hour. I have ordered pies at other McDonald's in the past and they have always, always informed me when they do not have pies made and have offered to either refund the cost, give me something else, or if I didn't want either of those options that it would be a 11 minute wait. I don't see how it could take 30 minutes to make 2 small apple pies. Meanwhile they made my drink wrong, and gave me my other food which I had not planned to eat right away but was cold by the time the pies came so I could leave with my take out! I was not offered any compensation for the time. There was also 2 other gentlemen that waited at least 15 minutes for their food and they were not waiting for pies. One guy was from a food delivery company and I bet his customers were not happy but it was not his fault. I just can't vebelie how poorly staffed and operated this mcdMcDona is.
