Update Aug 2024: Visited again after a year, had good brunch but service still needs big improvement.
Had simit platter, it was good but price was slightly higher compare to a year ago. Don’t get me wrong, it is still affordable and delicious breakfast plate. Oriental breakfast plate, on the other hand, did not have much meat, it is $25 for thinly sliced small piece of sausages etc, will not recommend.
Service was still very slow regardless of how busy they are. Our server said she will come back so we waited for 15min, she was walking around but never even looked at us once. So I ordered to another server. Our server came back 10min after we ordered and she did not seem to care. Drink came wrong but I did not even bother to tell them. No one came to check on us until we finished and stood up to pay.

I visited Turca on Sunday afternoon for brunch. I do not remember what used to be in this place but they painted beautiful mural on the exterior wall, interior was simple and clean, they had restaurant area + deli & little shops inside.
I loved their Turkish breakfast plate! It came with plenty of veggies and jam/honey for bread. It was like build your sandwich plate and I enjoyed a lot! Turkish bagel was my favorite, it had great texture and flavors. The breakfast came with Turkish tea, which was definitely a nice touch. We also tried their lamb shank plate and brek. Lamb shank was delicious and it came with rice and salad. Brek was flaky and rich, it was delicious!
The service was something I think they need to improve. There was not enough people working, when I got there there were 3-4 tables needed to be cleaned, we waited for 15min to be seated even though they were not full. They did not have water service or water station, they did not have glassware for water either. Also, my Turkish shakshuka did not come, they did not notice until I asked them even though it was part of the breakfast set. I ordered beef brek but I received cheese brek. No one came to check on us after meals were served. I understand that they are still newly opened restaurant, I hope they will improve their service in the future.
I loved their selections of menu and I cannot wait to go back and try other items, I...
Read moreSecond review: the score i'm giving is reflecting my disappointment of the second visit of this place today. We went for the brunch that we tried the first time, they served us literally less than half the quantity for the same price. The brunch that could serve two people that we had and we liked very much to come back again is now barely feeding one person. The spinach borek no longer comes with it. They changed it with 1 Simit (Turkish sesame bagel). The plate of cheeses, salad, nuts and pastrami comes with half its original quantity. With the third cheese as a piece of "La vache qui rit ". The bread is no longer the "homemade" type we tried before ,they now serve pieces of supermarket like cheap white bread. I'm not coming back to pay $26, for single serve eggs and mix of jam, honey and butter with cheap white bread. When we inquired about why they changed the brunch items and serving half quantity now, they said that they had food wasted from people not finishing their food, which is for me irrational,as they cut it by half and surprisingly didn't lower the price. Also they don't serve items that truly make a turkish breakfast turkish anymore such as Borek. Sorry but "La vache qui rit" cheese, white toast bread and jams and butter is not authentically turkish to make me pay for that price.
First review: This was my first visit today and will definitely be back. The food is so yummy you would feel you are in a trip to Turkey. We had a good brunch :eggs with Sujuk, cheese plate, Borek filled with spinach, pastrami and nuts, salad mix, jam honey butter , turkish tea , turkish coffee and all was fresh and yummy ! Bread was also in house freshly made. The dine in space is quite large and there is a small market in house with all types of typical turkish products. The owner is a very gentleman, very humble and welcoming and had a high sense of customer service. In our way out we bough a yummy Sujuk ( made in house and all natural with no chemical additives)and also pistachio Lokum ( turkish delights). I am a huge fan of Turkish food and I was suprised to find this quality...
Read moreOur continuing adventures trying different cuisines, found us family of four being ushered through the doors of Turca Breakfast House one weekend morning. We were promptly given menus by polite and smiling Turkish ladies in Muslim headscarves. To start our exotic breakfast, we were given a thermos of Turkish tea but several in my group ordered Turkish coffee in addition. The first sip of tea impressed us with a very likeable floral (?) flavor. Perhaps trailing the Vietnamese pandan tea just by a hairline. And the temperature is just perfect. Alternating with it, we tried Turkish coffee for the first time, in petit ornate cups, and we were similarly enamored. The coffee flavor and aroma with a thick nongritty solids at the bottom, stood out. The crema was velvety. And it was not bitter! For the breakfast itself, we ordered the classic Turkish breakfast consisting of freshly baked slices of bread and bagels sprinkled with sesame, sausage (slices) omelette, boiled egg, (and in separate platters of) green and dark olives, cucumbers and tomatoes, dried apricots with walnuts and chickpeas, cheeses and butter and sweet bread spreads to include rose jam and honey with a sliver of butter. Very notable is the distinct floral taste of the jam. The honey is light and not so viscous. They were superb on the nicely baked bread and bagel with the former sans the palate- and gum-piercing hard crusts of some baked versions we have tried. The olives' saltiness was just right; there is a hint of crunchiness in the green ones but the dark olives were so tender as to almost melt in the mouth after the first bites. Every last morsel of food was finished off the serving boards. Mukemmel yemek! We will try other Turkish...
