Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Calgary

Don’t bother with this location. So bewildered at the experience this evening. It wasn’t even busy around 17:45 purchased three subs the sandwich artist got the two large ones completely wrong but the small correct. My brother got steak and cheese she asked if he wanted it microwaved or toasted he said neither then she just wraps it up no sauce or nothing. For mine only asked for three thing tomato, lettuce, and extra pickles not even one flaming pickle on it just rude rude rude. It’s not like these are “cheap” or affordable anymore. This isn’t the first time at this location it’s like they get angry when you specifically ask for lots of something then deliberately are stingy except this time she didnt even bother. The 17th ave location goes above and beyond even packing extras w/o charge, daily specials and the best buy three get one free and points. If something not done to correct this I’ll never go back to support...

To the staff at this location, PLEASE remember hand hygiene. Yes, I see you wearing gloves but you wore the same pair from when I walked in, until you started making my sub. You even rang in my order prior to making my sub touching the dirty debit machine and cash register and then proceeded to make my sub wearing the same gloves. I had to ask THREE times for you to change your gloves. I am also celiac and requested the keto bun, please be aware that normal bread can’t be handled when preparing someone with celiacs sub. This wasn’t my main concern because I know many folks don’t know this and I’m comfortable walking them thru it. Food was good tho. Please educate yourselves and employees on hygiene and gluten...

This Mr. Sub has been the purveyor of amazing meals to Calgarians for as long as I can remember. The family who owns this truly cares about the community and is proud of the sandwiches that they make.

They are easy to find on 16th Ave NE just before you leave Renfrew towards Deerfoot Trail.

They have tons of parking which is refreshing for a sandwich shop. The staff run like a well-oiled machine and exude the love that they have for their work.

The quality of the bread is amazing and the the toppings are ample. They never make you feel small for asking for a little more lettuce or other toppings. They want you to love their subs!

PRO TIP- They have Dijon Mustard here if you ask...
