We stopped at this subway in between classes for a quick bite, however the experience was anything but quick. When we arrived, there were two employees behind the counter who seemed more interested in their own conversation than taking orders. Then two more employees joined, and instead of making things more efficient, it became even more chaotic. None of the workers were paying proper attention to the orders, and they moved at a slow pace, seemingly more focused on chatting amongst themselves than getting customers through the line. The employee taking our order barely listened to what we were saying - she would be looking elsewhere while smiling and nodding but missing details entirely, which was frustrating and unprofessional.
I ordered a 6-inch veggie patty sub. The first employee put my bread and cheese in the toaster but forgot the patty. A second employee then asked me what veggies I wanted, and when I mentioned the missing patty, she told the original employee, who just laughed, apologized, and added it afterward. The same issue happened with the second sub. Turkey and chicken were both supposed to be added, however the second employee assumed it was a veggie sub. Even after correcting the order, only chicken made it onto the sandwich and we were still charged for a double meat sub. At that point, we were too frustrated to argue further.
On top of all of that, a small line was forming, yet I noticed one of the employees was focused on making more bread rather than taking orders- something that could have easily been done at a slower time as there seemed to be more than enough bread to get through the small line.
Overall, as someone who has worked in customer service for the past 8 years, this was a VERY disappointing and unprofessional experience. The lack of organization and attention to detail caused unnecessary delays, and we ended up being late to class because of it. In such a small space, the disorganization made things even worse. The “turkey footlong” sub I included a picture of is what I’m more used to seeing, and was very tasty! However, the “veggie delite” sandwich, there was absolutely nothing “delightful” about it. Genuinely how can you call it a veggie delite and have missed the lettuce? There was literally 3 springs of lettuce? Even though there’s supposed to be “3oz”? There’s barely any spinach either, and there wasn’t much sauce despite asking for more passes. You can see how dry the bread is. I’ve included a receipt so that you can see exactly what I ordered on my receipt, go ahead and see if you can pick out what items they missed on the veggie delite.

They put things on your sub that you didn't ask for and then say "Well I already put it on" when you ask for them to take it off.
