Best store-bought samosas in Calgary. Period. I don't even bother with other chains (S-Fac👀) anymore because they taste subpar once you've tried Nooren. Could eat them all day, everyday.
Flaky, delicious, robust pastry that is neither too greasy or soggy. Perfect, full portions of their fillings that are very savoury, but not spicy - beef and chicken are our go-tos, but the donair and lamb samosas are good, too. Haven't tried the veggie samosas. They give the option of two sauces as a complement - (1) tangy green chutney or (2) sweet, white donair sauce. As the sauces are thin, I find them better poured into your samosa than dipped imo.
Eat them right away or crisp them up a bit more once you get home in an oven or airfryer, and they're to die for!
Edit: Since going back a few more times, I've also tried the potato bolani and beef biryani. A little pricier in comparison to others, but still very delicious considering their main product is samosas! Their uncooked samosas are also great for when you need your craving fulfilled but aren't as willing to make the drive down.

Read moreI was craving good samosas & sought opinion on a group. Got recommendation for Noreen. Bought 6 beef and 6 veggie samosas as well as a piece of veggie bolani.
I am in North West but drove to South East to check this place.
Bolani and potato samosas were just average. Beef basically had a good taste however there was 30% beef and 70% onions in it. Greed is really bad. It makes one does low level things. Anyone can go there, buy a samosa and cut it open. Get the onion out and look at the quantity. As Insaid, taste is good, misery and greed is resulting in it still being below average. That said crust of samosa was excellent. I hope the owners consider delivering more honestly and sell beef instead of 'onion samosa with teasers of beef' and then their samosas would be so good.
That said, since there is shortage of good samosa places in Calgary, people adjust their taste buds to a lower level. It's not Delhi,...
Read moreHave bought samosas from Nooren Samosa a few times for family potlucks. They responded to my questions on FB in a timely manner and were able to answer all my questions as members of my family are on low sodium diets. Every time I go I have received excellent quality food at a very reasonable price. When we have a family get together for birthdays etc I am always asked to bring Nooren Samosas they are a great hit with all family members and until 2 years ago some of my older family members didn't even know what a samosa was. Thank you for your great customer service and high quality tasty samosas. I really like the fact that I found out on this last visit that you can purchase uncooked samosas that can be warmed up in the oven or microwaved for people that don't want fried food. ...
