I usually don't write a lot of reviews, but this is just a feedback and I believe any service industry needs to have a constructive and valuable feedback for them to serve better to their clients for future. I come from a sophisticated hospitality background and service is always a standout point for me as I believe I become very much regular and also loyal to that particular store like anyone else. This was the day when I ordered my pickup and usually I'm very happy with the service at this location and please don't get me wrong. I'm still happy but the way I was treated as a customer was little disappointing. I went into the store to pick up my order. I was a bit late to pick up my order. The person was on the phone talking to someone so he did acknowledge me by nodding ahead. So five star for that. I patiently waited for him to finish the call so I can pick up my order and pay and leave the store. I had a 3-year-old daughter sitting in the car and I had to leave her because she was sleeping. After patiently waiting for him to finish the call. There was another call on que for a new pickup order. I was hoping to get my order picked up and also pay between that second call but that person chosed to pick up the second call after I waited for already 10 minutes for my order and he started with asking for his phone number and preferences. So this is where my disappointment started. So as a customer who's standing in front of you should wait for you to finish a second call for a new order and the person who is just calling cannot wait for a few minutes just so that you can finish with a customer who's standing right in front of you and attending him and sending him from your store. Rather that person chose to take a new order and keep the person waiting in the store while he finishes his new call. There was a girl working in the back so I was not trying to be rude or unrealistic about the situation but I still waited. Thankfully another guy came in few min later and he just walked past me into the back area and said nothing. After a couple of minutes my patience was running out and I just waved hand to the person who is at the back near the pizza oven he came over. He took my bill and I picked up my order. All of this happened for at least 12 to 13 minutes while I was in the store standing. While I can see there was only one pickup order left on the counter that was mine. So the feedback here is try to finish up the client who is in front of you and on the list of priority the customer who's in front of you needs to leave and then you can start taking your new order. If this feedback is not valuable, I'm very sorry but I think I must say mention this. This incident happened on 26th of July at the cornerstone Papa Jones location which is my go to location as well. I called and ordered food on the 20th of September 2024 and it was pay on delivery, so the driver came with a mobile POS which i used to pay and after that, i started getting notifications to confirm payments for weird transactions on my card -one as large as CAD1250!!! I called my bank and they confirmed that the attempts to charge my account started right after i bought something at this store. This is ridiculous and you guys would be reported to the authorities for fraudulent activities.
As for the food? The chicken wings and pizza i bought tasted SPOILT i literally had to throw it away.
UPDATE on 18th Oct 2024; I called the number mentioned below, and spoke to the manager who promised to investigate this and was kind enough to offer a store credit due to the bad food I had received. Read moreI ordered online and there was an issue with the ongoing promotion so I called the store and the person on the phone was so rude. I was telling her my issue and was asking for solution, instead of helping she was blaming me for wasting their time as they were busy with lots of order and they hung up on me. They need to train their staff about the customer service as well. Even if you can not resolve the problem but at least one should know how to talk with customer. If you guys think that you are busy just think the other person has spent the money to get something. When I received my pizza its just dough with very few toppings.
