Subway — Restaurant in Calgary

I work all over the city. I've been to many many subways. This specific one goes down in the book of shame. The only subway that's worse, is the one in the NW around bearspaw that tastes like they soak their subs in the Dead Sea to maximize the saltiness . But that's a story for another time.

No this subway just doesn't give a rats ass. You want evenly spread cheese? Too bad! Step aside fresh vegetables, there's a new sheriff in town. And his name is poorly chopped half ripe trash. I hope you like all your condiments shoved into the bread seam as far away from the toppings as possible, cause that's where they're going. No no, don't worry, just leave my sub in the toaster. It probably wants to die anyways.

Seriously though, you're job is make sandwiches. I don't care if your rude and take your sweet ass time. Just make me a solid sandwich. Nothing but disappointment here. Save your time people....

To all the folks who've eaten here before: just try and tell me this isn't the greatest Subway location of all time. Today I went in and the host behind the counter was instantly friendly and inviting, so much so that I was actually caught off guard! I've grown so accustomed to people choosing to be more reserved, especially in a big city, but this was such a welcome encounter I couldn't help but smile back and make conversation. It reminded me of growing up in a small town and brought back a feeling I hadn't experienced in a long time. I could tell, as the staff member greeted customers, some by name, even going as far as to remember their orders too, that this place is special. I never would've guessed I'd find such friendliness and comfort in a Subway of all places. If you're hungry for Subway and you're in the NE, you know where to go!...

I had the best experience at Subway thanks to Harleen Kaur! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel truly welcome.
