I am sad to write this review because the food here is amazing! Unfortunately the staff (lady with glasses) was EXTREMELY rude. This is my second second experience here with this rude staff member (I was giving her the benefit of the doubt hoping last time she just had a bad day) . I watched her yell at an old man over his question about his order today and he took a business card to complain about her as well. She yelled at him saying: “I’m a minimum wage worker sorry my service isn’t up to your standards”. The man was visibly upset and left. She is EXTREMELY aggressive and many people turned away as they did not want to deal with her. I have allergies and eating out for me is stressful. Staff needs training! Bad customer service!

It was my third time at the Cookie Jar. I went with my spouse for lunch and purchased over $70 worth of products. We ordered a chilli with cornmeal bread as was advertised on the menu. Surprisingly the chilly was really not tasting well and had no flavor at all! We went back to tell the lady who was working what happened and she responded very unhelpful and when we asked if we could exchange for something else she responded "I can't give food away for free". Instead of trying to help or sympathize she argued with us and was visibly angry! I am OBSESSED with the Cookie Jar. I go religiously each weekend to get their ooey gooey vegan gf Brownie (this heated up is literally the best brownie I have ever had), their gf vegan Banana Bread that never makes it out of the farmers market, it is so delicious, I always eat it then and there....and finally the star of the show, I pick up some delicious, moist, Vegan Gluten Free Carrot Cake, I dream about this cake through out the week it is so so good, from the sweet icing to the pieces of carrot sprinkled throughout the airy, moist Sponge it is a game changer.
