Terrible customer service My family went to get coffee last Sunday in the afternoon and the cashier was rude from start to finish. The cashier was a Korean lady in her mid to late 50s. My mom and I are also South Korean and we spoke in Korean to discuss what to get before placing the order. The lady heard us speaking and realized that she can speak in her mother tongue to us which was absolutely fine. But, when she asked for my mom's name to write down on our coffee orders (this location writes down the names of the customers like Starbucks for some reason), my mom said her English name. What the cashier said after was absolutely unbelievable. She said, "because you are Korean, I'm just gonna write Kim." For those who may not be familiar, Kim is a very common Korean surname. My mom's last name isn't even Kim, and her English name was no where near the name Kim. My mom's English name is actually a three letter name that is very easy to write.
We were shocked and taken back, so we couldn't even say anything at that moment. We regret that we didn't say a word to her.
If she had asked if she could just write Kim instead because she had difficulty writing English names, we would've been happy to make her life easier by letting her write whatever she desired. I genuinely don't think she will realize how rude it is to ask for the customer's name then ignore what the customer says to only replace it with a common surname.
This cashier was rude from the very beginning when she spoke in English to us before she realized that we were also Korean. We thought she might be going through a tough day. But, this conversation made me quickly realize that this was her personality and that she was simply a rude person.

Read morePlaced online order for drive thru using the app. I ordered a few items but the ones that was disappointing was the 2 medium cappuccinos with whipped toppings and 1 medium coffee original blend with 2 cream. This I had ordered for my elderly parents and myself after returning from a long tiring doctor’s appointment.
What I got was 1 full cup of coffee with milk or cream not sure what it was. The contents of the second cup was the same as the first cup but was only half cup. the third cup was filled with less than half cup of coffee and topped with whipped cream. Everything was tepid. Are they serving what is left behind by other customers????grosses me out to think of that. Even the serviettes did not look fresh the were crumpled as though previously used????
This is so shabby it shows that this store does not respect their customers. The way things were served it makes me wonder how the servers would feel if they got this kind of service when they go to restaurants and spend their own money.

Read moreIt used to be worth the wait even if the line was long at the Signal Hill Tim Hortons because the customer service was always top notch, but today the person working the drive thru rushed my daughter through her order, didn’t repeat it back, then when we got to the window and the order was wrong and we asked for the correct drink they were unapologetic and initially flat out ignored her. They then had her do a refund and charged for the upgraded drink. I don’t have a problem that we had to pay for the correct drink but when I said that I thought it was odd because it was their mistake the two staff members at the window started talking about us in front of us. We weren’t rude or belligerent, and to be honest I wouldn’t have pointed out that it was their error had they not been so dismissive. It’s just sad that the customer doesn’t matter anymore.
