Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Calgary

Im at this location almost every morning. Its my only stop i make headed in to work. I bike to work so my morning commute time is very important. Gas stations are great for getting those items you want through the day... But anytime i try to stop at one in the morning the customer service is lacking and causes me to be late headed to work. This location on the other hand.

I have had no issues here. At all. I stop in early morning 6:15-6:30am. Yes there is other costumers but ive mades friends with the staff and i truly beleive that makes the difference. Be nice and people will be nice back. Even if i just order a coffee its produced for me very fast and no issues with it being inconsistent. My double double always taste just right. Ive started ordering their farmers wrap (yum!) As a meal. That is always made for me in a timely fasion. As a walk in customer. I understand tbere is drivethru customers as well but i feel prioritized over the other orders once i get my order in. Some other places ive had my order taken by the drive thru cashier (you know talking into the mic/headset) at the tills. Very unimpressed. Thats mot on the staff. I want to make that clear, i understand. If anything that cashier is trying to help me by taking my order. But i like talking to my cashiers and making that extra bit of conversation. Which the staff at this tim hortons seems to entertain.

The New ice capps. Are way to much sugar for me. The new grill cheese are great! Highly recommend the bacon and turkey both delicious. I do not like the iced coffee i asked for black with 2 sugars but the staff member explained that its not "sugar" its sweeteners. Im assuming so the sugar grains aren't floating around in your coffee. But some fake sugar substitute which for some reason was flavoured (maybe French vanilla or hazelnut) is not a good alternative. Maybe next ill see if they can make it with actual sugar instead. The staff member actually made it as a double double originally and presented to me and I returned it asking for black and then the whole sweetener thing.. A little to much frustation for a iced coffee.

Overall the location works well for me. Never too busy when Im there in the morning. A little after I would be there it picks up quite a bit. The tim hortons also shares the building with a wendys. Which I find a little strange but I get it safe on real estate costs and what not and then after work i can go get a burger or whatever from wendys.

Great locations. Very friendly and engaging staff. Happy to call this my tims away from home location. Highly recommend getting to know the staff and just enjoy yourself. Its a tim! Eh have a good one. Thanks for your time. I hope this was...

This is the Tim's location between my house and office, so I have stopped here frequently over the last couple years because it is conveniently located. However, the convenience is not worth it.

Today from the drive thru, I ordered a "sausage scramble box with no sauce", the male on the headset said "sausage or bacon" and I repeated my order "sausage scramble box with no sauce" (this is not the first time I have ordered this nor the first time that this individual has NOT LISTENED to my order). Looking at the screen was still the previous person's 3x3 order so I didn't get to see my order on the screen before I was asked to "come to the window and have your payment ready". When I got to the window there was one person holding the debit machine and the other was already trying to hand me my food and said "have a nice day; see you next time" when I hadn't paid or anything.

I ALWAYS feel so rushed at this location, even when I am the only one in the line. I'm not an old person who's taking their sweet time or anything--I take a reasonable amount of time to grab my wallet, take out my card, tap it, and put it back in my wallet before I can physically grab my items. The niceties of saying "have a nice day" is great, and it's valued, but the staff at this branch lack any warmth or authenticity. It's all about their drive thru times. They don't actually listen to the customers because they are always rushing about and trying to keep people moving through the line EVEN WHEN there is NO ONE behind you in line. This was especially proven today when I got to my office and saw that my scramble box was drenched in sauce, which I clearly had stated I did not want, when I ordered.

This is not the first time I have felt this way but after reading reviews for this location, I see I'm not the only one that feels this way and has said something, so I'm speaking up. And yes, I have already filled out the Customer Care form on the Tim's website where I gave this exact review.
