Clearly, Wasim doesn’t work here anymore. When I first moved up to this area 14 years ago, I discovered Wasim’s and became a big fan. Wasim was a young entrepreneur, who put a lot of love and passion in to his business and it showed. His pizzas won awards year after year and he was very popular. The pastas were always tasty and portions never skimped upon. I can’t remember when he sold the business, but it was at least six or seven years ago. Initially, the new owners remained faithful to Wasim’s vision, but over the years, the quality slowly slipped downwards. I doubt even the current owners are the ones who bought it from Wasim. Tonight I decided to get the baked spaghetti with meat balls. Let’s start with what was good. The pasta was well prepared. Not soggy and not undercooked. Al dente. There was loads of cheese and it was baked to a lovely golden brown. Very tasty. Now the bad. The very bad. The sauce was watery and tasteless. Chunks of tomato and ground meat were frugally spread around. Not a sauce at all really. When I called to place the order, the gentleman told me the meatballs are made with chicken. I was fine with that, until I bit in to one. As can be seen in the photo, calling it a meat ball is a gross misnomer. It is some sort of battered chicken mystery meat that was soggy and pasty. It was simply terrible. It was the only one I ate and gave the rest to my dog. He loved them. But hey, he also eats cow manure, so what does he know. This is likely the last time I will go to Wasim’s. Very disappointed.

I've been eating donairs all my life, but this place tops them all!!! Not only are they huge but they're full of yummy crisp lettuce, tomatoes, onions, sweet sauce and Donair meat. Plus they crisp them up in their panini press so every time you bite into your donair it's a crunch and yummy gooey sauce. The donair meat has wonderful spices that are just perfect. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and I will return there every single time I'm in Calgary Alberta. I would rate this one 100 out of a hundred.

This is my second time trying their donair. Thought I'd give it any shoot cause maybe I had a first off experience but no... once again it's one of the worst donairs I've had. The chicken is dry af with little meat in the wrap and the sweet sauce is overly sweet. In general it maybe cheap but it's not even worth the few dollars. My stomach was torn afterwards

Ordered 2 med pizzas over an hour ago with the ETA of an hour. Exact time called 9:56pm No pizza. Called them, their closed. What the hell guys.its now 11:18... Shitty service. Oh well some place else will get our continued service. Truly disappointed 😞

Tried this place one more time. Asked the guy behavior and the counter what the specials were. He tells me two large pizzas wings and a pop for 25.99 I first decided to get one large donair pizza , comes out to 19 dollars. I was like another 6 dollars plus tax for the deal, let's do it So I order another large pizza. My total is now 36 something, I was like WAIT IS MY MATH OFF , whatever, don't have to cook after a 7 day work week, grab my pop out of the cooler and sit down to wait. Same guy calls me up as my food was ready and now wants to charge me another ten dollars wtf. So a 25 dollar deal is now over 46 bucks. Nope. I use to love this joint. Would have staff parties and order large amounts of pizza from these guys. I will no longer step foot in this place. Great food however costs an arm and a leg and their deals are bullshit. They don't exist. I should have just got my money back and got pizza from my area 35 mins across the...

I've been ordering from here for about a year and half since I started dating someone from the area and just recently moved into the northeast part of the city. Here and there, being new to the northeast, i've thought to try other pizza vendors. Yech, I never get anything near to the quality of Wasim's. Every single item ordered either for myself, family and friends has been above and beyond what I expect from a pizza delivery service. The Greek salad should win an award of it's own, and while I'm not a big Donair fan when it comes to Wasim's I am! I've tried quite a few of their gourmet as well as my own topping choices, and have never ever been disappointed in anything. Flavourful sauces, fresh food, good range of choices from pizza to pasta to donairs to chicken wings all with fast courteous service at amazing prices....oh! and wonderfully yummy Baklava at a very good price -- what more could you want???? A+ from me and my entire family,...
