Very disappointed. We went to the Guelph location on the weekend and aside from the slow service the food was excellent, so I was happy to take my family to the Cambridge location. The food was anything but delicious. My nieces salad looked almost slimy, not very appetizing at all. My mum didn’t not eat much of her meal, she said it was very bland (she got some type of pasta). I was surprised it was bland I guess they used all the salt on my app and pizza. We got the spinach dip and all I could taste was garlic and salt. My pizza was extremely salty to say there was 1-2 piece of prosciutto on there (it was mostly sauce and wilted onions dumped all over it). The server started out good, but went down hill very quickly when a couple of more families came in. At one point we could not even find anyone on the floor for about 15 mins. We had somewhere to be and gave ourselves 1.5 hours to eat. My family had to leave me there to make their engagement on time. I asked for a take out container twice and had to ask someone else for one after waiting 10 minutes after the bill was paid - when I did she gave attitude about it being busy. I got the same meal as the location in Guelph on the weekend so I was surprised that the food was terrible this time. I know dinning out changed a lot after Covid but I find it hard to believe that you need to budget 2 hours to get lunch for 2 adults and 3 kids at a restaurant, especially when the quality of the food was so bad. Then when I was leaving I asked the girl at the host stand to help with with the door. I had 2 bags, the take out container I finally got and a baby in my hands. The door was a little heavy. She didn’t really give attitude - but she said nothing, came over, opened it for me. But I was expecting a “sure no problem” something along those lines. Sorry Boston Pizza won’t be coming back in a hurry - well not this location. And I had to call the location because after reviewing the bill they did not take off the kids meals that were supposed...
Read moreThis place absolutely sucks. I have no idea how they're in business lol You're paying like $50 for pizza. You expected it to come out hot, we ordered three items and only one of them came out warm. It's like they waited for the final pizza to get cooked or they put it in really late and let all the other food get cold, we order two large pizzas and a pasta.
One of the pizzas had extremely melty cheese and you could tell was right out of the oven, the other one had cool down cheese and was barely warm, same with the pasta, I guess they messed up lining up the dishes and did not bring them out as they were finished, I don't ever respect that. Any good restaurant knows to put out the food right away so it's warm and fresh regardless if something comes out first or not, extremely disappointed.
That's not even the worst part, because the food actually sucks too. We tried both our new pizzas, not creative, not fresh, one said he came without Alfredo sauce and I felt like there was legitimately. No sauce on it, even coming home and putting it in the microwave, I legit. Legit don't know if they put sauce on it or not, and absolute embarrassment to any restaurant establishment.
I'm one of the top reviewers of Google, I have mostly positive reviews, but wow get your s* together guys. You're charging the highest price for pizza I've ever seen and you can't even get that right, it's truly embarrassing and I've never gone off on anybody like this before lol
The guy serving us was nice as far as a person goes, but damn was he slow and bad at serving. Not only was it empty, not only did the food come out cold, not only did we wait forever to order and to get our food because they let it get cold, but it also took forever to leave.
We got one picture of pop and they charged us $12 for it, left a tip, we'll never come back. Enjoy this well-earned one star review. I have not had such a disappointing and visit to a place in a long time, happy...
Read moreI am a long haul truck driver out of Calgary...our headquarters is in the Cambridge area. Tonight (Thursday) I went to have a warm meal and to watch the football game (NFL). The food was warm and fresh. I left after finishing my meal. Waited 10 minutes or so for my take out dessert order.
I usually do not post comments; however, this needs to be addressed. The service or lack thereof was horrible from the waitresses/bartender. I waited roughly five minutes or so before anyone came and asked if I wanted a drink and/or a menu. I had to ask for a menu. Three times I had to ask if they could put the game on...shoot you have a "sports bar" with t.v's for a reason! Eventually they put the game on. They never once asked if I wanted another drink. I wanted to order dessert but felt as if I was interrupting THEIR conversation with each other and their friends. The bartender was practically on top of her male friend. They were more concerned about having a conversation with their friends then serving the customers. From what I could, tell they were ignoring the other tables as well.
I brought this to the attention of the manager. If he actually followed through with addressing this is another matter. The "service" and inattention to customers is completely unexceptable; unprofessional and should not be tolerated. It is not cheap to eat out and with the price BP charges, one expects better service.
Because of my job, Ive been to a lot of BP across the country. This is by far the worse BP in regards to service; professional, and friendly staff. It would help if there was an adult employed who can keep...
