We had the worst dining experience at Montana's in Cambridge. First off we order a 12oz medium rare steak and it came well done and dry. We asked to have the steak redone and it was medium well which was edible but still dry. We also ordered the Canadian burger and there was a long hair embedded in the burger patty, which the waitress tried to pull out in front us at the table and making the whole table feel like throwing up and lose our appetite ; especially when she commented, "what colour is it so we can see who should be wearing a hair net in the back" and "WOW! Its really wedged in there" Our compensation was that the burger which we did not eat was not charged to the bill. We asked for a coffee to get the taste out of my mouth and they charged it to the bill! No one came to apologize!!! "Jerome" came to clear the table we ask if he was the manager and he said yes so we explained the situation. He was aware of it but didn't offer an apology right away other than finally saying he was sorry and couldn't stop laughing. We told him this was not a laughing matter. Eventually he offered a gift certificate for us to come back again.
Our biggest mistake was not getting up to leave when the waitress was struggling to remove the hair from the burger.
Definitely never going back to...
Read more⭐☆☆☆☆ I recently visited the Cambridge Montana’s for wing night, expecting the usual deal and quality I’ve had at other locations—especially Guelph. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark entirely.
We ordered three double orders of wings and a single, aiming for the half-price deal on doubles. I clarified the promotion with our waitress, who assured me it was fine. But when the food arrived, they brought all single orders plus two extras we didn’t request—and charged us for them. The waitress later said she misunderstood and couldn’t change it because “the computer wouldn’t allow it.”
The wings themselves were small, overcooked, and cold. Not even close to the quality we’ve had at other Montana’s. The ranch dressing cups were barely a quarter full—definitely not enough to go around. We were hungry, so we didn’t complain at the time, but it felt like the staff weren’t paying attention to details at all.
Honestly, we felt misled about the deal, ignored when it came to quality, and overcharged for food we didn’t even order. It’s a shame because we came excited for wing night—but this will be our last visit to the...
Read moreHad gone to montanas on the 23rd, and I might have had one of the worst experiences at a restaurant, if not the. It started slow to get service. My son was missed for asking for a drink and the waitress when they had returned got it. We placed our order and when requesting the order, the ask of how a steak was cooked was amissed. When they brought out the food which took awhile inside my napkin it was missing a fork. I asked for a Fork after waiting awhile for the waitress to notice me. She then proceeded to help others and I waited there for a while without a fork. I flagged her down and she did a hand gesture almost suggesting she was coming. She came back without the fork which I had to ask again for one. By the time she got back some of my party were already done eating and my steak got cold. She did offer another steak but they would mean I would be even more behind and most definitely eating alone. She brushed her hand on my back while walking away almost suggesting like it was ok...She ended up putting a discount for the steak but considering it all it felt like a slap as the meal and the experience...
