California Thai — Restaurant in Cambridge

I love this place so much! Because, taste and volume was awesome!!! And employee were great too. They are always nice! Definitely, I will back again!!!

Update #1 I love this food so much! I went to here a week ago. Of course price was up. But, it's everywhere now. So, it's not surprised me. Taste was of course so good!!! I usually order Medley 3. Meaning you can pick fried rice or noodles, one veggie and two meats. After tax was $15.81 I am always order Santa Barbara Chicken. It's sooooo good. And if you like it sweet taste then I will recommend Honey Garlic Chicken and sweet potatoes (I forgot name). If I eat Chinese food by food court then definitely I will recommend here. I saw it by Conestoga mall too. But, I never try that location. So, I am not sure it's taste same or not. Sometimes taste is different even same name. And staff are so friendly and nice too. This is my favorite Chinese food by food court for sure.

Update #2: I took pictures for what items are they have it. I can't remember how many times I came here. That much so good taste all of them. I went to Conestoga mall then they also have California Thai. But price is about $1 expensive than here. This is best...

I've been going to California Thai for a few years now. They recently renovated and decided to check them out after the reno.

The new look is great, bright new sign with televisions for the menu etc.The prices have also increased - not surprised as a new look is often a good time to change up prices etc. Things were looking great at the surface, I can't say the same for the quality of the food. Unfortunately the Noodles/Mango Chicken I've enjoyed many times was very oily and bland, with a bad after taste. I did get my meal around 2pm, so not during the prime time hours of lunch to get the freshest food. My colleague's Medley #1 was also bland and left an aftertaste with him too..

We decided to take our receipts and food back to California Thai to give them a little bit of feedback and seek a refund/credit since we barely touched our meal.

After presenting them with the feedback, they looked a little puzzled and said 'thanks'.

Will not be visiting you...

Sorely disappointed... :( Have been going to California Thai for over 6 years, went a while ago and it was closed for the renovations. Went today to see it all nicely updated but no familiar faces from all my past visits. Decided to give it a go and unfortunately won’t be making my ritual California Thai runs anymore. The noodles aren’t the same, different kind of noodle, with no real flavour compared to the old...same with the chicken. Sad to see a good thing go...must have changed ownership or...
