Unfortunately, my experience here was poor. I had browsed their online menu before coming here and was excited to see that some of their sandwich options came with gluten free bread and also their prices were very fair. When I arrived at the cafe, I was surprised to see the prices 30% higher than those on the website’s menu and they had no gluten free bread option. I proceeded to order a chicken caesar and veggie wrap. I was shocked to discover both wraps were packed with iceberg lettuce and sauce, while the other toppings were either completely missing or very scarce. I do not believe the price paid reflected the quality. I try to support these small local businesses but its becoming increasingly more difficult. When we pay to eat out we expect the effort put into the food prepared to be better than what we could make ourselves at home. Edit: I'm very confused how this establishment accumulated over 300 reviews in a week? If there is no association between Creme Cafe and Grind House, please remove the misleading link to the website on Google. A website and Google reviews help people with dietary restrictions plan their visit ahead of time. Other than the iceberg lettuce, the ingredients were so incredibly scant that it felt like they were missing altogether. If I wrote a private email, I don't doubt you would've made things right for me. However, the point of Google reviews is to guide the decisions of other visitors and hope the business owner can make it right for everyone who walks through the door, not just one dissappointed visitor.

The cafe was adequate but the rest of the place is a mixed bag. The washrooms were in horrible conditions and the tables that were used were wobbly and tiny. Honestly, the service was pretty average, nothing particularly special or memorable. I ended up getting the latte and banana bread. I was really surprised by how incredibly weak the latte tasted. It was barely noticeable. Furthermore, the banana bread didn't have a very interesting texture. The bread was almost too uniform, and there was barely any variation in the crumbliness. It seemed like it might have been over-beaten. Overall, it's a place to pick up a book and enjoy the scenery but I would advise going elsewhere for a better brew.

Cozy café right at the main corners of Hespeler Village. Choose from window seating, group tables or a cozy chair. The menu includes hot drinks, sandwiches & wraps, grilled paninis and breakfast items. There's also a few sweet treats too. Wifi and 2 hour parking available behind the café in the public lot. Be aware that if you have a stroller or wheelchair there is a small step and narrow doorway - I saw a few people leave their stroller outside and come inside holding their child.

I have been going to this place for years and i have always loved it. It is a a bit pricey, expected from a small cafe, but it was always worth it. Over the years i have always bought the same thing, and iced vanilla latte and a BLT. It was always so delicious. Recently though, over the past few months there has been employees there I had never seen before. They make the meals completely different than the past. The old boys that always made it were consistent with how they made the delicious sandwhich. Everytime I have went and these new employees were there they did not toast the bread and always gave horrible slices of tomatoes. Today mine was a very thick slice of the whole centre of the tomato, soooo many seeds and overall yucky! Anyways, this has just really disappointed me especially since i’m spending so much money and for 3 years I was always able to rely on grindhouse for...

Dissapointing experience for a first time visit. On any other day we would probably left before ordering as the girl working here didn't even acknowledge our presence for a good minute and a half or so (she saw us come in and the place was empty, just turned around and started counting coffee filters) Then when we did order she showed very little interest in answering (very regular) questions about the menu, I have no idea what was going on there! The panini we ordered was made with regular bread slices and the herbal tea i ordered was actually black tea. I asked about the tea and she told me it was herbal, just very dark! (It was 100% black tea, she just lied) We didn't ask abt the bread bcs it didn't matter that much but caffeine is actually a problem for me. I would never go back here, this was the most ridiculous service I received anywhere....
