The Mad Stacker — Restaurant in Cambridge

First time there I bought 2 subs that were just over $20 and we really enjoyed them. This time I bought 2 subs that cost over $32 and we were extremely disappointed. The "large" subs were the smallest subs we've ever had and my BLT had 2 strips of bacon, 4 thin tomato slices and a bit of shredded lettuce. Today was my first time trying the Mad Stacker- I was a very loyal patron to Papou’s for decades prior. I have to say it was the strangest thing, my husband got the mad stacker and I got the assorted and both subs tasted like absolutely nothing. They both had a few different types of meat and mayo + sub sauce yet it tastes like absolutely nothing, no flavour. The prices are quite expensive for an experience like this- I wouldn’t return based on the taste...

I will tell you service top notch...price no problem. Problem I tasted Subway and Mr. Sub. They have changed their ham to blackforest instead of cooked ham. There is less of it and for me makes it generic like the chains. Next time I will call and see if they either offer both or will go to a.place in Galt I know uses the ham that belongs on a sub.
