Cambridge Public Library, Hespeler — Attraction in Cambridge

Been a while since I've been to this Hespeler Idea Exchange (library for those not hip). First time since the pandemic hit. Normally go to my close one but since I was in the area I stopped in. They are in full COVID defense mode I'm proud to state. They have a very well laid out travel route through this library. Came in to pick a movie. Came out with three. One of the very few pluses of the pandemic, at the library right now, is the fact the movies do not need to be back for 2 weeks. Even the new ones. Friendly staff. Always willing to help. On the upper level I was surprised to see the many games they carry. Never see those since before the pandemic we patrons could walk through willy-nilly and I never went over...

Beautiful architecture as small glass cube gives an invitation to come & explore it. The detailing such as external stair for book drop off & aluminum rail of internal main dog legged staircase is reflection of an innovation. Hespler villa surrounding add to the ambience of surrounding as visitor comes in to see this tiny box high is nice. Cambridge deserve more architectural buildings such as Cambridge city hall. It is a good blend of old primitive down town building with most modern architecture of new building which...

The people who work here have always been so kind to my son and are quite helpful whenever I need to find a book or other resources. There were many scheduled programs for kids and a lovely play area for toddlers as well. The upstairs is for adults and is set up beautifully. I have missed being able to take my son inside SO much since covid started. We are really looking forward to the day that things fully...
