I was driving from the states back to Sauga, so I took a out stop to grab an everything BLT bagel to eat. I made the ordered and recieved it. As, I was about to take my first bite, i noticed a part of discolouration, then I opened my bagel and noticed the whole lettuce was bad. So, I calmly went back and showed the lady the lettuce, which she agreed was bad. I calmly had let her know to tell the person to make sure food is edible. She did tell him, which he responded, "I don't care," then later said "(name) brought a fresh head of lettuce." I asked the lady to show him... But she already threw it out. While, I was waiting for a new one to be made... The young boy had an attitude. I told him, " I used to work in hospitality, so I understand the pressures, but you should always keep your attitude in check." He continued giving attitude. Too bad, the boy didn't know how to just say sorry....instead his coworker has to apologize for him. This happened at 12:45pm today. I hope that boy learns or told to show some respect to his fellow peers and customers... As well to do better and care more the food you give out. P.S besides this, this place is mess. It's pretty gross for being a place where you eat. Have some pride in...
Read moreThis iconic Canadian heritage coffee shop chain has gone through many changes over the years. You can tell the size of a place by the number of Tim Hortons.
This location on Eagle St near Hespeler Rd. is decent & one of several Tim Hortons in close proximity. The staff is usually friendly & helpful. They have most of the menu items available when I go there. It's often not crowded.
This visit was on a Wednesday night around 7:30pm. I purchased a coffee & doughnut, sat by the fake fireplace which is never turned on & began to read. After about ½ an hour, I visited the washroom. The usual in terms of accessibility.
My ride was returning at 9:45 so I pictured a relaxing wait. Sadly, NO! I assumed their in-store hours were like other locations, open inside until 10pm. This one is only open until 9pm. I was not looking forward to waiting 45 minutes outside on a cold, rainy night. The staff was apologetic but still I had to go.
Other than that, the store was fairly clean. The selection of doughnuts was limited but the coffee was fresh & hot. Drive through is 24hrs. I believe that walkups may be served @ the drive through window after it's closed inside.
The shop is located near public transit & about 15 mins from a...
Read moreThe overnight drive through crew seems like they were pulled in off the streets, trained for an hour and then left to their own devices. I ordered a cheese croissant heated with butter. Recieved it with two massive globs of solid butter. Went back through and asked them to spread the butter and heat it again. What did they do? They threw it out, made another and put it on the panini grill. I was left with a burnt nasty tasting cheese croissant with butter that still managed to not be fully melted.
Retraining is highly recommended, quality has been declining for a while now. I have never before seen such shoddy service as I have in the past few months, and I've been ordering from this location for 6+ years.
Edit July 5, 2024: rating is now down to one star. One of the employees on the night shift, on the above mentioned date, straight lied to me about the product I purchased. It was not made right and he insisted/assured me, it was. I didn't make it off the lot with properly made product.
"The customer is always right" is still fully valid in...
