I use to go to Tim's daily. Lately I go once or twice a month when I don't have time to make my own coffee. I stopped going because of how slow the inside service was. I refuse to wait 15 mins in a drivethrough that has 30 cars lined up to the next block every time. Also, the coffee was only drinkable, 1 out of 5 visits. I now make my coffee at home, and it is great everytime, I'm never late for work.
I notice most of the staff has changed. With only a few of the staff I previously remember seeing.
From working at a fast food restaurant as a manager previously, there's a few points I noticed that need to be worked on here.
There was only one cash open. The lineup at this cash had about 6 people in it waiting, and it was not moving - only one staff member on this cash, who was clearly struggling, with absolutely no help. Typically, there should be a swing or shift manager who would oversee issues like this and would step in to help keep service running smoothly - this isn't the case here.
You need to pay for more staff to address the high volume of customers. You are losing money as people are walking out for the long wait times, or aren't even going in (my case) as they see the lineups going out the door - this is apparent at both Campbellton and Atholville locations.
If you pay your staff more, they won't leave. If you govern them more, they will be more efficient. All of the issues seem to be a snowballing effect here.
Hopefully you can address these issues, as it wouldn't cost you much and could save...
Read moreI've noticed a consistent issue when visiting this Tim Hortons. On multiple occasions, I've ordered a cilantro lime chicken bowl, only to be told they’re out of either the chicken or the rice or sometimes both. Similarly, it’s common for cookies, donuts, and muffins to be unavailable.
Another concern is with the tea. When I order a 3,3, it's often served lukewarm, and I’m frequently told it’s due to the way I order it. However, when I order the same at other Tim Hortons locations, the tea is always piping hot. There are also times when the sugar and cream are either forgotten or not mixed and you get all the sugar at the end of your drink, requiring me to return and ask for a fix.
I’m not sure what has changed at this location, but it feels like things are slipping. It would be great to see some improvements, especially in terms of food availability and consistency with...
Read moreEvery time I go there's an error with my order. Tonight, I asked for 20 honey dip tim bits, the screen show3d 20 tim bits - honey dip. Told my total was $5.30. I gave the cashier $7, a 5 dollar bill and a toonie and was given back .30 cents. I said whatever, and let it go. Drive all the way home 5 honey dip tim bits in the box and 15 FIFTEEN, of the ones with the sprinkles. I can understand a couple but fifteen when I asked for twenty of one particular kind. Next time communicate, I'd rather get nothing than pay for something I didn't want. Now 15 of those tim bits have gone in the garbage....
