What a great little gem in Campbellton, NB! My girlfriend and I were there on vacation and happy to have the opportunity to try Pronto. We each had a drink, ordered a few apps to share, and each had a main. The apps were great, especially the bread and arancini. Fresh bread done well go's a long way! Our mains were good as well. I had chicken parm and she had chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Both were tasty, well seasoned, and good portion sizes for the price. We did find that the sauces, especially any tomato-based sauce were heavy handed on the garlic, but still edible and delicious. Service was excellent. All front of house staff seemed to be tag-teaming and helping each other out. They were all friendly, personable, but not overbearing.

The other half of the group was running late and the owner questioned where the rest of the group was and we told him they will be 5-10 minutes. Owner told us when we make a reservation, he expects people to show up on time because there are other reservations. This is understandable, but owner was passive aggressive in his delivery of the message which made the present group a tad uncomfortable, resulting in ordering our meal before the other members of the group arrived. Read moreA terrific find in a sweet NB town! Passing through Campbellton in our RV. Rode bikes into town from campground to find this delicious gem for lunch. Greeted, seated, served by chef owner. Wine list perfect (a Nova Scotia rose was delicious--went across street to wine store and bought a bottle). Menu options plentiful (no pizza!) and fresh. Ground pepper, extra parm, detailed explanations and recommendations. Meal: Misto salad, chicken parm with fusili, and vanilla gelatto with maple syrup for dessert (a Canadian sundae). Perfect!
