Was actually looking for the sushi place (which it turns out is the same) The staff were friendly and welcoming, so i sat and ended up with the Chinese buffet. I was pleasantly surprised. They had 15 or so different selections. Not a huge selection but the choices were well thought out. There were Veggie options, favorites like ginger beef, and sweet and sour pork, soup, rice and spring rolls. In my opinion food was far above average for a buffet. Ginger beef and Sweet and sour pork weren't mushy, sauces were very flavorful. They had black pepper beef, which had good flavor and the vegetables were crisp. The salt and pepper shrimp were large and flavorful. Pretty hard to complain about anything. I travel 2-3 weeks out of each month. It's nice to find a family run operation like this. Took a client there for dinner and the client said the food was ok, it was an quite, ok place to talk but the issues came up when I paid for my clients dinner(the only person to eat as I was masked) while they went to the washroom, I asked why they don’t have a price for anyone 11-17 why are they charging adult price for them? They didn’t have an answer, then he tried to say we both ate and I corrected him, we left after my client was done in the washroom, the guy came out side to accuse my client of not paying and then walked away with out so much as an apology when I reminded him that I just paid for my clients dinner. Tonight, my daughter and I ordered 2 combination plate 1 (a). As always, we found the food to be outstanding and fresh. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavour was spot on. The service we receive is of top quality and the owner is super sweet. He’s very personable and friendly. He values his customers and still remembers us after all this time. I can’t always afford tips but they still give us great food. Hands down we have a massive amount of leftovers for tomorrow as we find their portions to be very generous!
