A&W Canada — Restaurant in Camrose

Best fast food you can get, the drinks when served to stay are in large frozen glass mugs, each meal is prepared with care and with affection, it seems like everyone there does theire job right every time. Its definitly good food, everything is fresh and the menu has so many good things to chose from. The place is always clean, the lighting is good, and its perfect for many occasions. Birthday? Get a rootbeer float and a burger with fries and invite the fam and friends! Date? Grab some drinks food and a burger and enjoy a table for two! Family lunch/dinner? Awesome! Theyve got tables for 4 and more and a whole family of burgurs to chose from, burgurs for the kids, the teen that eats ten times his weight a day and never seems to stop eating, the dad that you could swear eats three plates of stuffing every thanksgiving only because he isnt allowed more and an average burgur for the mom who dont like anything too big or too small. This is of course a fun representation of a family of wildly different tastes to potray my point as well as appease you the good reader and definitly isnt accurate to all familys lol. A&W has always been a favourite burger joint for me, despite A&W having the most annoying ads on Youtube, going to your local A&W is usually the same as going to any other. Walking in, ordering a teen burger, fries and a root beer, and sitting down to enjoy the succulent taste of the burger, the crisp flavourful fries, and the sweet, sort of ambrosia and nectar like, Rootbeer. I personally always order the grandpa burger, it’s been a favourite of mine since I was 9 years old and well 10 years later I still enjoy them. This particular A&W isn’t really different from any other I’ve seen but thats a good thing. A&W is meant to make you feel at home, like you’ve been here before. And this one does a really good job doing that. If only they’d be open longer so I could grab a burger at 11pm instead of walking all the way...

I went for a late lunch at A&W today and was APPALED at what I had to witness. A male staff member was verbally assaulting a female coworker, yelling and shouting at her about how she wasn't the boss of him and many other very demeaning things. No human being deserves to be shouted at or spoken to in the way that man did. If that wasnt enough, he was also displaying very escalated and almost aggressive body language. No senior member of staff seemed to be stepping in for quite sometime. I have never been more uncomfortable in a restaurant and I assure you, I will never be coming back. I would never want to share space with that man again. I am simply grateful that I did not have children with me...
