This restaurant looks nice. It is beautifully decorated. When we got there we were confused as to whether it was open, or not, since there was quite a bit of snow blocking the path from the parking lot to the front of the restaurant. We enjoyed the games that were made available for diners to enjoy, instead of just disconnecting on their phones. This is the only reason for the 2 stars.
We both ordered pop, a Coke and a Diet Coke. They were terrible. I often give bars a pass on pop, because that is probably not their priority, but I guess I figure, if you are going to charge $3.59 for something, you ought to make sure it tastes good. And if you can't be bothered to make sure the fountain pop is going to taste right, then maybe offer cans or bottles of the stuff instead.
We ordered the Mushroom Bruschetta and both had Ribs as well, mine with a double stuffed potatoes, and the Husband had fries. Coleslaw was also offered as a side. The only part of my entire meal that tasted good was the bread from the Bruschetta, after the toppings had been scraped off. Every thing else was just odd flavored. The sauce on the ribs was overwhelming, and there was way too much of it, probably to cover up how little meat there actually was, and how overcooked that meat was. The coleslaw was pungent, and not edible at all.
I was very disappointed by this restaurant. I had big hopes for it, the reviews seemed good... but the food was just terrible. We shall not be returning. For a $75 meal, I really expected...

We ordered two racks of ribs and a steak dinner. The two ribs were extremely tough and flavourless. I’m talking inedible, here. So we sent them back and ordered steaks. The server said the ribs were done in a different way than they usually do them. (They felt rushed and definitely not slow cooked, someone in the kitchen forgot to prep obviously.) My Dad’s steak was okay, but the veg (carrots and broccoli) which are supposed to be steamed were raw and flavourless. So we asked for new veg as they were too hard for him to chew. The steaks arrived, we both ordered medium rare. My Aunties was medium to medium well and tough as nails. Mine, Also ordered medium rare came completely well done with the same raw veggies my Dad got. His replacement veg came raw again. The server said that is how they serve them, but as a chef, I can attest that no restaurant serves raw veg when on the menu it says steamed. We had to wait 30 minutes for our replacement meals. My well done steak and raw veg were so unpalatable I lost my appetite. The server comped my dinner but that was it. We saw other tables sending back their meals too, it wasn’t just us having a bad experience. After a 2 beers, two meals, and a desert, we still paid over $100 before gratuity. Honestly it ruined our day and we will never, ever be back. What a total...

Appies: 'bruschetta' was tasty - 5/6 small slices and a bowl 'hot lobster dunk' with nachos which was delicious. Temp hot, maybe a bit of spicy zing, nothing crazy! I'd say if you are following it up with heavier mains then those two appies will easily satisfy a group of four. Mains: 14oz Ribeyes... nailed prefect med (pink, no blood) blackened the other more then half dryer less marbled. Peppercorn sirloin pasta looked delicious, 7oz Sirloin looked sad but said it was good. Server: gracious and very busy, apologetic. Really great. We spoke of that large baseball grouping +20% tip essential in auto applying to bill. Easier for everyone to figure out what they owe, food cost + 10% x 2. Xray: Full baseball team arrived hour early large group 7p reservations with game washed out... Our reservation was not incl w team, not in hurry so food rec'd in acceptable timely matter. Team waited considerably longer which was more then acceptable to ensure other customer's were getting orders. Offered some larger sized booths, seating seemed crowded but likely normal spacing with some still spacially adjusting to normal, so all good! The washrooms are very progressive so check them out for yourselves! The costs would have been a considerable upgrade, hats off to Mr Mikes for going the extra step. So great to...
