Good food. Nice atmosphere. Kudos to the designer of the menu, and to the chef in house. We arrived late afternoon and were offered a table"as soon as one was available-would we care to wait at the bar?" We said yes, our bartender, a smiling, relaxed young woman-didn't miss a beat and was friendly and helpful-even though I ordered a water, and my husband a pop. We were very quickly, and seamlessly ushered to a comfortable booth. Our bartender had supplied us with menus, and our server was on spot. We ordered quickly and were pleased that the excellent burger and delicious, fish and chips with cilantro laced, extra creamy ,obviously 'in house -made coleslaw arrived surprisingly fast. We watched organised service performed all around, our drinks were kept filled up and it was a pleasure to see that we now have wonderful 'foodie' options , coupled with what look to be fine beverages, on the west end, middle of city and , of course the always amazing "Hart House." 1st time at Browns, quiet Saturday evening around 8pm , ordered the steak and pasta , really good , just keep in mind when ordering steak , I ordered rare, (I do this on purpose because it's how I like my steak best but also I don't mind medium, so if they over do ...it's ok for me) the server , Garret was awesome and the (Jeff one of the managers) also came by and offered to have the steak redone. We came to a great resolution and I am more than satisfied and will gladly recommend this location to locals and travellers #ramada is a very close walk. Garret was above the expected and offered a couple of samples of different beers to help me choose (went with both!) great service and great food, prices were very reasonable.

Also just learned they cooked my steak correctly, it just ended up on the wrong plate.... Mistakes happen odds of 2 people ordering the same dish at the same time get mixed up on the steak..... and they let me know , still happy with the service 100% recommend...

Came here 6 months ago ordered then beef noodle bowl, asked for no cilantro.. came with cilantro.. ate it non the less was good…anyways came today with my girlfriend, she ordered ordered salad…dressing on side and dynamite roll and I got the beef noodle bowl again. Dynamite rolls seemed like the rice was old.and her salad did not come with dressing on side. my beef noodle bowl came and I had a piece of broccoli that was still cold and bowl was Luke warm … we sat for 10 mins before anyone came back over to us… and it wasn’t ever the server that served us..was the manager…ask for it to be sent back… came back and it was so salty couldn’t even eat… I’ve only ever sent back food 3 times prior to this meal and 2 times it’s been here. Server never came back to us only manager dealt with us. Very sadly disappointed....
