We went to have supper at Baton rouge, these are covid19 times and my expectations were low after visiting a few different restaurants that have kept the same prices but shrunk their portions and other complimentary services they used to offer. BATON ROUGE CANDIAC, is an excellent example of a business that offers its client massive VALUE FOR A GREAT PRICE! This is how you keep YOUR customers : you make them feel they are number one! Covid 19 did not prevent this place from going full force to provide superior food and service : disposable manues, new caryons pack and color book for each kid , social distancing , digital manue and than there is the food: REAL STEAKS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN- great price for prime rib that was huge and thick and delicious with a good size of side dishes - everything is generous , fresh , delicious with a dedicated waitress that doesn't bother you but cares about your needs ... I hope many restaurants will model this business. Covid19 is not an excuse to shrink portions and give us LESS FOR MORE! AndaAnd thing... I asked the waitress to simply tell the manager that we are very happy and thank you. The manager of this place came to our table to thank us .. we didn't expect that , but she came to hear WHY we are so happy. Afterwards I heard how she pumps her team and gets them excited because many people made reservations.. she talked to her team as if they are her partners . 5 stars Baton rouge , today you earned us as your regular...
Read moreHello, Since you you haven’t replied to my email. I’ll send this again. I wanted to share some feedback about my recent dining experience, which was unfortunately quite disappointing. I ordered the calamari, and it was greasy and overcooked. The color of the calamari was far too dark—almost chocolate brown—while it should have been closer to the color of your fries. Additionally, the portion was UNDERWHELMING I received only 3-4 rings of calamari and a large amount of batter, which made it feel like I was paying for mostly fried dough, not the seafood I expected.
On top of that, My wife & I ordered a Baton Rouge Hamburger that had no flavor at all—it was very bland and lacked any seasoning. For the $20 we spent on the calamari & the $23 for the hamburgers, I expected a much better quality meal.
Sadly, this was on my birthday, and it did not make for an enjoyable celebration. Given the issues with both the food and the overall experience, I believe a reimbursement or refund is in order.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and work on improving the quality of your food and service. Honestly feedback from you would be appreciated regarding our experience.

Read moreAs other reviewers have mentioned, the decor and look is very old fashioned, the tables are scratched up and stained.
We were so exited to go but quickly got disappointed. It took over 40 minutes to get our mains, we got steak and fries and wow the fries were so peppery and salty to the point of being dehydrated after every bite, we asked for ketchup as we thought it would help with the taste but did not received any, when we asked for the bill, the lady goes “did you get the ketchup, no?, would you still like it?” No thanks not after 10 minutes of waiting for it. Talk about loosing your appetite!
The staff rarely pass by, mind you it was lunch time, was not busy at all! Afterwards, we had such a bad taste of our experience we just went to a close by McDonald’s. We left feeling as salty as the fries were! (Very) maybe don’t put as much salt and pepper especially when theres salt and pepper at the table for us to use accordingly to our tastes! Just a thought.
This franchise is what it’s called a “bad apple”, giving a bad experience that ruined Baton Rouge for us, not only this specific location but others as well as it...
