Harvey's — Restaurant in Centre Wellington

We walk into harvey’s and are “greeted” by the man working at the cash, whom had the most unpleasant facial expression. He had barely said anything to us, practically refusing to look at us. When it was my turn to order I told him what I wants, he replies “that’s it” and that’s the only word I heard him say. While I was ordering the food, his fellow employer walks over stands oddly close behind him and they start whispering something to each other. I smile at him to try and make light of whatever sort of awkward interaction that was and he just dead stares me and returns to the back. I walked away to await my order and the man at the cash went to the back and didn’t return. I was watching them like a hawk to make sure they didn’t spit in my food or milkshake or something. Usually I don’t have any issue with this location, but today was a different story. Very long line in the drive thru which happens once in a while - fair enough. The vehicle two ahead of me was returning their food and looked like it was fixing an order.. so I was already hesitant. The man working at the till was not very pleasant. After he gave me the debit machine he just disappeared so I had to awkwardly hold it until the window opened again and I could set it down. When he did come back he was barking at the woman preparing all of the orders and was chirping her about why she didn’t pass the food through even though I am sure her job is to get the orders all ready. Was so disappointed with everything about this restaurant. It used to be a good choice but will not be stopping again. From being told l had to purchase a side with my sandwich or l couldn't get it ( even though l did not want a side), to the bullying of the kid taking the orders from the other staff, it was not a pleasant dining experience at all. The man who finally delivered our sandwiches to the table would only speak to my husband about whose food he was delivering even though my husband was already eating his food.
