Must try !!! As a caribbean person who travels for a living it's a treat to find a restaurant that captures the essence and flavors of " home" .

Have the Datcha bowl . It's a combination of coconut saffron rice, pigeon peas, sweet fried plantains and you have the option of chicken, beef or veggie. They would offer pepper sauce or spicy sauce ( say yes lol its delicious if you can tolerate) and the food is fresh off the stove! So it's just like eating a hot meal at home.

I ate my bowl in a hurry and forgot to take a pic as I was so excited by the aroma . But I did capture the order of the lucky lobster! Which is a fried Bake ( fried bread ), lobster with some spices. as a trinidadian it reminded me of salt fish and bake but with a hint of curry crab, absolutely delicious!

If you're caribbean or you enjoy caribbean food, his place would be for you.

Best thing I've had on PEI. Would be back to sip on their caribbean cocktails and have another bowl and...

Update: still fantastic, when we return to the island we try to have our "cheat meal" here. It's fantastic, made to order. Also to drink they have Caribbean-style juices so try some!

So this is another amazing gem of a place of international food you won't find just anywhere - and Charlottetown has it with easy access. They serve bokit here, which is a cross between a hamburger, sandwich, and flat brioche bread. The simplicity of the idea combined with amazing ingredients and OMG THE BREAD combine for a pretty incredible experience. Options are beef patty, chicken, or shredded cod as the protein - all great options in our group. Dessert options are next but this is an amazing little place - but make sure you watch their hours. Drink with a ginger beer for an authentic Guadeloupe experience. Plus the owner is awesome! Delicious. There's a bit of a kick in the creole sauce, and it...

First of all, wow! This was my first time eating some authentic french carribean cuisine and it’s a great introduction— definitely a must for anyone who wants to dip their toes into the culture. Today I tried their chicken datcha bowl and I loved every bit of it! It was fresh, it was light, but hearty as well. It was unbelievable 😳✨ Kudos to the staff who were so kind. Will definitely come back again!!!!

I had the opportunity to try their Striploin beef bowl and let me tell you something… That food was made with love and good vibes! It was DE-LI-CIOUS!!! I ate that meal so quick like my life depended on it!! We were served by Val who was an absolutely gem of a human being AND we didn’t have to wait for too long. I’m currently visiting Charlottetown and will definitely try to go there again!
