WOMEN PLEASE READ so you're aware before going to Ponyboat!

The weekend before Halloween my friend went to the bathroom and left me alone at the pool table, this dude (maybe 5'6"/5'7", brown, dark hair, mid to late 20s, stalky) who I initially thought was security did multiple rounds. I later realized he was watching me and likely other women. He came up, starting calling me pretty, touching my arm. I told him "do not touch me". He said "no, no, no" and continued to touch me, telling me he'd be outside. I did not follow him, I went to find my friend, and eventually reported it to one of the staff.

A couple weeks later (this last Sunday) me and my friends had another similar experience and watched other women experience the same thing. It was not the same guy, but similar description, just slimmer and a bit taller. He presneted more awkward and was wearing a hoodie. He apparently tried speaking to my friends when I was not around, me and one of my friends were in the motorbike game, I had set my drink on the floor. He came up to ask my friend if the game "was free". He clearly knew it was not. I suspected he was leaning in to try and roofie my drink, so I grabbed it and held it, at which point he left.

This same guy later approached two women playing another game, I walked in between him and them asking if they knew him, they did not and were also disturbed by his behaviour. One of their coworkers was there for a staff party (big man, tall, worked security) and scared him off. He tried re-entering covering his face and wearing his hoodie later but I believe he quickly left.

My friend had heard rumors prior to the first incident of a group of men trying to lure drunk women out of the establishment in order to jump them or harm them in some way. I did not know about this prior to the first incident when she told me. But the guy during incident two was using the exact same lines on the two other women as the guy during the first incident did on me.

I know these things often don't get reported, even if someone is harmed. Please if you are going to Ponyboat stay clear at night (one of these incidents happened during a very busy Saturday and the other on a less busy Sunday, both after 11:00pm). Try to visit during the day only. If you are around at night stick with friends. Don't go outside on your own. Report any strange behaviour to the staff. Cover your drinks. Please please please stay safe girls and...

Only giving it 2 stars because the workers were great and friendly and I enjoy coming here occasionally with friends for some rounds of pool.

However, food wise I was not impressed. My partner and I ordered the 'Jumbo Cheese Dog' which cost $14 each. From the promotional images on their social media, the name, and the price, we were led to believe this was going to be a bigger hot dog (images on their social media appeared to be a foot long). However whenever we received the food, it was a regular sized hot dog. We along with our friends who got it were a bit confused by this. Apparently it was supposed to be spicy ketchup, but just tasted like regular ketchup. Overall, we were left very underwhelmed and feeling like we had been duped by the promotion of the item.

I'm giving this place 5 stars because my friend and I honestly had an awesome time. We got there around 6pm on a Wednesday evening, it was pretty dead when we arrived, so we played some games and then we decided to order food and drinks, we got a mocktail for two at first because we weren't going to drink, but man oh man, this mocktail was so good we ended up ordering a Lets Get Fizzical. Even though it was almost $15 it was totally worth it, it even came with cotton candy!?!?!? The staff that were working that night were super friendly and kind, one bartender even kept coming over to make sure we were all good! They have some pretty sick games, it really reminded me of being a kid and playing the arcade games at the movies 🤣 It did end up packed by 830 though and it was a Wednesday! I think some air condition would be super in this place, as when it got packed, it was really really warm! Overall, it was one of the best night I've had in a very long time, 10/10...
